[Steel Alloy] I'm using this on my standing office desk with a 17 MacBook Pro laptop. The height range seems reasonable, and although the tilt angle is fixed, it seems okay. The stand feels sturdy. I put it together backwards (with the brackets facing out instead of in) which better accommodates the width of my laptop. Office phone fits underneath no problem. I use it with a Bluetooth keyboard, and I'm so keyboard-centric that reaching up for the track pad when needed hasn't been too much of a hassle yet. I'm using this at a fixed work station. Taking it apart for mobile applications could be feasible, but it would take a minute. 5 |
