[2 x 4 TB HDDs] I was outgrowing my 1 TB external single drives, and it was about time to separate my work projects from my personal. The item arrived quickly, and sported the lovely new electronic smell. Install was a breeze; as I don't have the need for RAID at the moment, I converted the drives quickly to be independent of each other, with one drive making multiple backups of the other. My system doesn't support USB 3.0, so I can't comment on the speed. But I can say USB 2.0 speeds are similar to other external drives, averaging around 20-25 MB/sec, according to the disc tests I ran. 4 months later the drive bay still runs like a charm. It is very quiet, located about 4 feet away from ear shot, and can only be heard when booting up the desktop as the drives spin up. This won't win you any awards for speed if you're doing heavy video processing. For now, it serves my purpose as a drive for my photography business, but I fear as the cameras keep increasing in MP sizes, I may need to update the desktop to either USB 3.0 or something similar, as USB 2.0 is starting to show its age (rendering full size previews of thousands of images can take a long time)!

[1x PCIe 3.0 x16] Easy to install. Works well with my USB 3.0 card reader and USB 3.0 external drive. Both are noticeably faster than the USB 2.0 interfaces that came with my computer.

[Steel] I installed the Samsung 250GB Solid State Drive in my Lenovo desk-top computer. I moved Windows and all my application software to the solid state drive and all of my personal files to the internal disc drive. The disc drive is backed by an external disc drive. The resulting system is much faster. The installation went very smooth, although I had the entire system backed up on an external disk drive incase anything went wrong.

[84] Use this great little case for my G-Drive mobile 1TB drive. Has a small external pocket that is perfect for the USB3.0 cable for the drive. Also, just got my Focus 5 Monitor from SmallHD and was a little concerned about protecting it in my bag. The Ruggard case is a perfect fit for the monitor as well. Great protection at a very good price.

[2.5"] I used this drive to clone a laptop hard drive to a solid state drive. Worked well.

[5 lb] I bought this (on recommendation of the salesperson) for my 1tb external hard drive and it suits the device nicely. It has a pocket on one side that fits the usb cable well. I do wish there was a full foam pocket on the inside of the case so that the drive would be totally surrounded by foam and then the case (in case of drops), but it only has one pc of foam that covers one side of the drive. Get it done!
