200 Dollar Guitar Tube Amplifier

[1] From time to time, I need the use the guitar input of my amplifier for a second microphone input - this gizmo enables me to do that withous issues.

[Chassis: Steel] I was looking for a passive per amplifier with multiple inputs as my tube amp only got one . I have connected my turntable , cd , and chromcast through this little preamp to my tube amp. Works perfect and did not change the sound character as per what I can hear. Knobs on the front for volume and inputs are quite handy. Solid built quality. Delivered on time so overall a great shopping experience .

[Matte] Like a tube amplifier that has micro-clarity and depth of sound, or a Zeiss lens that has micro-contrast and depth of color, this paper a certain micro-texture and gamut depth that you experience - even if you can't graph it.

[Active 2-Way] I bought a pair of these to use with a guitar amp simulator. They sound great and allow for getting the amplifier and effects tone without having to crank up the volume to concert levels.

[Download] In 1969 I saw a solid-body electric guitar with a three-inch amplifier built into the face of the guitar. The tiny speaker was powered by a nine-volt battery inserted in the back of the instrument. Fantastic, I thought, why don't they make a suction-cup amp that sticks onto the face of the guitar? A zillion years later they did and it is fine.

[Handheld] Great mic for any kind of use. Vocals sound great as well as guitar and bass amplifier. I use this mic in my home studio and live performance.

[Full-Frame] Mounted on a Sony a7rii the photos are crystal sharp. For a $200 dollar lens it competes any $600 lens. The focus ring and aperture rings are stiff, but I like it that way. The auto/manual switch did change from just carrying the camera, but again not a real big deal. Lovely bokeh at f1.8 in the background, giving a nice touch to the picture.

[Clear] I read a lot of reviews of this preamp which complained about the lack of headroom and tendency to distort the signal easily, producing a wooly, dark, or muddy tone. If you are looking for a clean, all-purpose preamp with very little character then this is not what you are looking for. However, if you are after a warm, dreamy tube-driven sound then this is a great low-price preamp to add to your arsenal. It's become my favorite preamp for a classic acoustic guitar tone paired with a beyer ribbon mic-- beautiful warm, woody sound with a little gentle tube compression. Happiest I've ever been with an acoustic guitar.

[2x AAA] The solid-state analog circuitry provides a very pleasing sound when using clean channel. The stock speaker is fine and does not need to be replaced per various YouTube videos. The sound is warm and almost like a tube amp as notes and chords trail off gently in waves. This amp is perfectly suited for me as an older guitar player who plays blues, rock and jazz at relatively low volume levels. I always look forward to playing guitar and hearing this amp and will continue to use and enjoy its clean channel with a $25 Azor analog reverb pedal. I strongly recommend this amp to anyone who wants that British tube like amp sound without spending a ton of money.
