[3.5 oz / 100 g] These new V.3 pouches are even better than the V.2. The rain covers are designed much better!

[0.05 lb] See my review of the Think Tank Hydrophobia D 70-200 V.3 rain Cover Does the job. Just make sure you get correct eye piece for your camera.

[Black] When you need to go wide with no distortion, this is the lens to get.

[Yes] I have these and the Think Tank Lens Changer 25 v.2.0. Theyre both good, but theyre different. This is for extreme side and bottom protection for your lenses. I wear these on the sides of my belt and the much thinner neoprene case Think Tank Lens Changer in the middle since its padding is much thinner. I only wish they made the 7 into an 8.5 so it could handle a Sony GM 70-200mm f/2.8.

[46 mm (Front)] The lens performs well at near and far zooms. I did some basic sharpness tests and got good results. I love the 18mm (28mm DX) and need the 300mm (460mm DX). I have noticed reviews of lack of sharpness and pincushion distortion. And, in my first attempt to use the lens out of the box I noticed that these were in fact characteristics of the lens. However, as Nikon recommends, I then upgraded my D500 to the latest firmware for Camera (C) and Lens Distortion (LD), and in the camera I turned on Auto Distortion Control, All issues went away. The lens is now performing excellently. Sharpness has returned, distortion has gone away. A definite 5 star piece of equipment.

[0.11 lb] I don't remember whether my 25mm came with a lens hood or not. If it did I apparently lost it. Lens hoods are incredibly important for avoiding flare and veiling, even on modern lenses. Of course it fits perfectly. I wouldn't be without it. Worth the money.

[Imperial] Not as much distortion as you would expect. Little CA. All around great lens.
