27 Inch Hdr 2K Gaming Monitor

[144 Hz] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LG's new UltraFine 4K HDR monitor is everything I wanted in a new monitor. The 10-bit VA 32 inch panel with HDR is very vivid and bright. The colors really pop out at you. LG has been the industry leader when it comes to monitors and this one does not disappoint. This monitor is perfect for work and play. My work laptop uses USB-C display alt to pass video and charging capabilities. This new monitor is able to deliver 65 watts of power delivery through its USB-C port. Having one cable for charging and video saves space and allows for good cable management. The monitor has pretty good speakers as well. They give off an ample amount of volume for work and play. Now lets talk about the gaming features. HDMI 2.1 and 144hz at 4k is a game changer. I have the latest gaming consoles and have my gaming PC connected. Lets just say that I notice a difference when playing the latest AAA titles. Having Freesync Premium is also a must have for today's monitors, so screen tearing is minimal. The overall 32 inch size is a perfect size for a 4k monitor. LG does not disappoint. Having the ability to tilt and adjust the height adds a feature that most monitors in its class don't allow. The USB-C input is a must have. This is a must buy.

[27"] I needed a color accurate 2k 27, and this has been near perfect. Though not HDR, it is bright and punchy. I had to play around with the settings a bit to get it to where I needed it, as it was too much out of the box. (I'd rather turn down than not have headroom.) VRR works flawlessly with my 6700xt, and it displays at 120hz when plugged into my Mac for work. There is a bit of IPS bleed at the corners, but I can get over it. One word of caution: The second DisplayPort is for daisy chaining ONLY. If you want to plug this in to two machines, you will need to use one HDMI and one DP. I did not read that before purchase, but found it in their documentation after. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase. B&H Photo, of course, was efficient and professional. as always.

[21:9] Those who want this to buy for gaming, buy a GAMING MONITOR! This is for art not gaming unlike someone who thinks it's for both. There are HDR gaming monitors out there.

[3H] The ViewSonic VG2755-2K 27 monitor is great for photographers doing their own post-production work. Great colors, high resolution, and is a snap to calibrate using my Spyder 5.

[Internal] I needed a bright HDR monitor to use for color grading 4k HDR video on my Mac. The Asus 4k ProArt 27 HDR monitor turned out to be a great option. The 27 size is perfect for my 3 screen setup. The wide gamut color, the HDR with mini LED local dimming, the peak brightness of 1000 nits, peak contrast of 1000000:1, and the USB-c connectivity is a combination hard to find at this price point from any manufacturer. Works well with the Mac Studio & Final Cut Pro.
