[1/4"-20 Male] The lens takes great pictures. Much lighter than like 28-300mm Nikon Lens. Need to get use the lens has to be set at the 50mm point; but the system to do this if you are not set to position.

[f/2.1 to 6.5] Great and clear. Full zoom throught. I use to use it with my 28-300mm lens, for indoor and nearby objects

[72 mm] This filter is optically correct and does not distort anything on my 28-300mm Nikkor or my 17-35mm Nikkor on sunrise and sunset shots or shots with a bright sky that needs damping down. I'm very pleased with the results and I believe it performs just as well as more expensive filters I have purchased from other sources in the past.

[Neoprene] This fits my Nikon D850 with the 28-300mm stock lens and some room to spare. Nice protection for when I want to carry my camera around without its full bag.

[Yellow] The AF-S NIKKOR 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR Zoom Lens on a Nikon D5000 camera fits in the bag along with a few small accessories. I bought the bag to protect my camera and lens when transferring to the beach from a small cruise ship. Some of these will be wet landings in a Zodiac which will require me to wade to shore. I haven't tested whether the bag is waterproof or not but it seems to seal quite well. Hopefully, I won't have to test this out. This should be a cost effective solution.

[f/3.5 to 5.6] This lens has a very durable build quality, oozing heft and high quality feel. The push/pull zoom, pooh-pooed in many other reviews is really not a problem. I like the feel of the zoom and the slide action is smooth and easy. I have no trouble zooming quickly and keeping control. The locking/tightening ring works fine. As mentioned in almost every review, this lens is VERY HEAVY. You can feel the metal and glass in the heft. I am used to carrying my camera by the side grip. With this lens, I carry the camera by the lens. Picture quality: Excellent. Not the fastest lens, but very practical with the 28-300MM range. This is my first L lens and I can really tell the difference in the picture quality, even on my old 40D. This lens replaces my current kit 28-135MM and 70-300MM lenses. I am going to keep those lenses however, for inconspicuous travel purposes, because the new lens is pretty showy. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

[Neoprene/Nylon] I have a Nikon D750 and when I pair it with a Nikon 28 - 300mm lens it becomes quite heavy. The standard issue Nikon strap was hurting my neck. Once I put this strap on it was a huge difference. I used it for the first at a 3-hour photo shoot and the strap was excellent! My neck and back felt fine after that period of time. I like that the length is very adjustable and the neck material is very comfortable.

[0.29x] As a general purpose, zoom lens, the Tamron 28-300mm is hard to beat. Not only is it less expensive than the Nikon equivalent, it's equal in quality and, most important, it's nearly lighter. If you're using it as a traveling lens, the difference in weight alone is a compelling reason to consider this lens.

[Aluminum] I use it as a protector glass for my Canon RF 28-70.
