[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Samsung BAR Plus USB 3.1 Flash Drive for over a year now, and honestly, I can’t imagine my life without it! First off, it looks sleek and stylish in silver, and the metal design feels really sturdy. I love that it’s compact enough to slip into my pocket or bag without any fuss. The performance has been fantastic! Transferring big files, like videos from family trips or my research projects. has been super quick. It really saves me time, especially when I’m in a rush to share something important. Plus, with 128GB of storage, I can keep everything I need, photos, documents, and even a few playlists for studying, all in one place without worrying about running out of space. What I appreciate the most is how easy it is to use with all my devices. Whether I’m on my laptop or helping a friend with something on their tablet, it just works. Overall, I’d definitely recommend the Samsung BAR Plus to anyone looking for a reliable and stylish flash drive.

[4] Not much to say other than, "It works." The rotating cover that slides down with a 3.5" drive on the dock tends to buzz as the drive vibrates in use. A dab of silicone on the edge of that cover took care of that. eSATA performance was as expected. USB 3.1 seems like overkill on a device like this since it exceeds the drive speed anyway, so provided that didn't increase the price... :) The transfers over USB are fast. If the computer and the receiving/sending drive(s) can match, then this dock will give you max speed possible with the drives in question. It just works: tested with Macbook, Windows and Linux using USB 3.1, USB 3.0, and eSATA. I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review.

[Bus Powered] This LaCie 5TB USB 3.2 Mobile Drive weighs less than the LaCie 5TB USB 3.1 one (335 vs 265 grams), although the 3.1 feels more solid. There is almost no noticeable difference in transfer speed between one and the other. I like its elegant design. I recommend it.

[6 x 3.95 x 0.3"] SanDisk 256 Ultra Fit USB 3.1 is a must have for the serious computer user. With some computers this flash drive offers more space than the standard drive. When travelling without your computer, carry this drive with all your files. Using this, you will never leave without it. I certainly do not.

[Metal] Although I can't reach the full speed of this drive, since my MacBook Air is only USB 3.1, it is still far faster than any spinning platter drive I have used. The price was highly competitive too.

[0.02 lb] We are using a flash drive to store and playback videos on a portable projector. I tried with a USB 3.0 Flash Drive, thinking the newer version was better. But the projector had a different idea. I learned from the professionals at B+H that this unit requires an older USB 2.0 Flash Drive. I never would have thought of that but sure enough, when I used this Verbatim 64G Ergo USB 2.0, the projector recognized the videos and played them flawlessly.
