[No, ] I honestly didn't comprehend how large this screen was when I bought it, but 27 inches for a computer monitor is enough monitor for anyone doing normal computer things or working from home. I would certainly buy this product again, and had originally planned on buying a second for a two monitor set up, but the size of the monitor is already big enough for me to have two documents open at one time, so no need.

[Internal] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently, I got the opportunity to test out the LG 29” UltraWide FHD HDR FreeSync Monitor with USB Type C. First off, I didn’t know how much a better monitor experience could give and I got to say this blew my expectations away. It was much bigger than I expected and now it's harder for me to use a smaller screen with this one spanning 29 inches. My current monitor is at 15 inches and yet this one feels like it's three times the size. Even having two screens side by side doesn’t compare. The full setup took less than 10 minutes before having it connected and exploring the features. So far I’ve thrown gaming, window multitasking, videos/movies, and 3D CAD design. Each one performed great and using the full real estate of the screen improved each area. For example, I found myself more immersed in my gaming/video experience than before. Also, I love simplistic/modern design with near edge to edge screen and subtle red accent color on the base. Now if only I can work solely from home on my new and vastly improved setup. [Internal] I have used the ASUS ROG STRIX 32 4K HDR 160 Hz Gaming Monitor for over three months now and I still love it the way I did day one. This ASUS monitor replaced a low-end Samsung 27 monitor that I have had for a long time. Before the Samsung monitor, I had one of the first Gateway 1080P 27 monitors (which was a great gaming monitor in its day). I now wanted a new monitor to replace my Samsung due to my recent computer upgrade (which will easily go to 4K resolution with my new 4070TI Nvidia video card) during the Christmas holidays. I saw the ASUS (and I am a big ASUS fan) here on B&H, researched a little, and decided to pull the trigger on the purchase. I was not disappointed at all, even though the price was a little steeper than what I was looking to spend. This ASUS monitor is very fast, and the colors are vibrant and true. Its stand is one of the best that I have seen and owned. The on-screen menu is very informative with the availability of a few tweaks and features not found on other monitors in this class. If you are into digital creation, this should be one of the monitors for you to consider. Lastly, with an industry leading 2-year warranty from ASUS (register it at ASUS to be sure you are in the system), you can't go wrong if you are in the market looking for a higher quality 32 4K monitor. You can buy the latest PC build, but don't hesitate to upgrade what matters most, the screen on which you work/play. I would definitely buy another one of these ... if I only had room on my desk. Maybe a desk upgrade is in my future ...

The main things I was looking out for when upgrading to a 32:9 was Color Accuracy for editing photo and video as well as good performance for gaming. 95% DCIP3 color accuracy was plenty for my needs personally and I am using 16 bit 100MP GFX 100 files. A 200hz refresh rate is more than I will ever see in most games that I play. The brightness is 400 cd/m^2 which is more than my second ultrawide and plenty for the environment I use this in. Usage wise, You definitely dont NEED 45in of ultrawide display but in gaming (if the game supports it), it is absolutely gorgeous. Being able to watch a movie while I am editing is also pretty nice as well. The only downside I have really come across is the fact that it has about an inch less screen height wise. My old 21:9 Ultrawide monitor had a screen height of 14.29". So while I obviously gained a vast amount of screen real estate horizontally, I lost about a little over an inch in height. This is negligible in my opinion but it would have been the icing on the cake if it was also the same vertical size. It was really the only flaw I could come up with. Genuinely love the monitor. Overall I think if youre debating on making the switch to 32:9 from 21:9 this is a fantastic intro into it before shelling out a bunch of money for bigger OLED options.

[5 ms (GtG)] Best deal in an Adobe RGB color space monitor. For around $500 you can analyze on screen photographs meant for print and you can see what is really being put out for web work. It also has sRGB and B&W modes. One camera store suggested that the the AdobeRGB presented by the screen is fine without even calibrating it. The 24 size works since two pages position about the right size. With a 32 you are tempted to put up three pages side by side but they are then just a little too small. Next big screen I get will be a 37 to maybe fix the three page problem. I have bought twice from BenQ, first 32 monitor died early but overall I liked it so I bought another smaller one 24 since they cleared up the problems with the system board apparently and I love the overall look and features of their equipment. The stand allows many positions and the Side Wings keep stray light off the screen so make sure you buy them too as an option on the 24 but included with the 32. Also, the controls are easier to use than on most monitors. Thank you BenQ.
