35 Mm Film Scanner

[23 lb] I am scanning 35 MM slides, Med format transparencies, several thousand 35 MM and hundreds of rolls of 6x6 & 6x 7 film. the scanner with the software is doing a better job than the Nikon L9000 I had which I had scanned about 1500 35 mm slides. I don't thing the scanner itself is better tan the Nikon but the software makes a huge difference. also the med format seems a little easier on the epson

[LED] This scanner wroks very well. I've scanned over 100 35 mm slides with out any problem. It took me a couple of tries to get results, but like anything new, it just takes using it to get a handle on the process.

[0.05 lb] I just started processing 35 mm B&W film again, and initially bought a light-colored 16 oz. measuring cup at Dollar Tree for mixing chemistry. It was OK, but this is much more precise, with very clear etched markings for both English and Metric units, and with small increments. I also really like the wide circular base, which makes it easy to stand securely on any flat surface. The cylinder is also wide enough to easily use a stir stick for mixing chemistry. 300ml is the standard chemistry amount for 1-roll 35mm film processing, so this is exactly what you need for single roll processing. Highly recommended!
