[Glass] I was looking for an amber filter by this manufacturer .... My specific intended use was for 35mm black and white film photography. This filter is the precise specs and durability I was seeking, and gives me the sharpness of image with buildings and scenery I desired.

[0.15 lb] Bought this filter to use it on my 35mm, I normally use UV filters more as a protection since I'm always taking pictures of kids and they love to touch the lenses! This one is very clear and don't affect image quality, great value for the price!

[0.11 lb] I shoot 35mm black and white and color film, and the 35mm f/2 lens is my standard lens. So this filter comes on and off my 35mm lens whenever I change film stocks. The filter frame is wide, with knurling, so the filter is easy to hold onto, and the brass threads give a positive click when they line up with the lead in on the lens threads. This makes the filter easy to install, even while the camera is around your neck. Then there is contrast, the contrast on Tri-X 400 is what I would expect from a filter described as a Wratten #8. I will be getting the orange and red, maybe even the dark red as well for my to trip to Albuquerque/Los Alamos NM, for both my 35mm and my 135mm lenses.
