[f/3.7 to 6.2] Wanted a intermediate camera to start back into 35mm style photography, but wanted to stay affordable in equipment till I progress. Long time Pentax user SP500, this camera provides similar action, but do not have to use 3 different lens.

[0.045 lb] My roots in photography go back to 35mm B&W Tri X. I am very happy to find Kodak and B&H still supply this great film. I use this in my dad's 1962 Kodak Duaflex IV camera and am thrilled to see the wonderful results. The film has great exposure latitude to make up for the age of the camera and the grain - love grain in my B&W film. Helps to give that classic film look. Great for art photography.

[8.2 lb / 3.7 kg] I use this for wedding photography and it fits just about everything I need: Two camera bodies (Nikon D850), 24mm, 35mm, 120mm, macro, 2 SB700 Flashes, sewing kit, Flash diffusers, ribbons and other things for detail shots, first aid, crochet hooks, tape, scissors, a whole bunch of batteries and chargers, wallet, kleenex, tide wipes, and much much much more. Yeah, it has a lot of weight to it, but it R O L L S and it's very rugged. The extension handle is up to the task and it transforms into a backpack when traveling on the rougher terrain. A very good bag and I might buy another one!

[Polyester] I've used the T-Max BW Films and always have had consistent output from them for my Photography Classes. The T-Max 100 is what I needed to be able to experiment with Reversal Developing during the class. With a very old (but still definitely working well) StereoScopic 35mm camera in hand (as well as my current 35mm SLR outfit), I was very pleasantly surprised by the results from the Reversal processing -- clear, consistent .. and I was able to use some of the supplies I had for the old stereoscopic camera to be able to use its viewers successfully. I'd recommend this as the film to use when your Professor wants to introduce Reversal Processing into your classroom experience.

[23 x 18 x 12"] I do real estate photography. For me, this includes Matterport virtual tours, still photography, videography, and aerial video/photography. My Matterport camera has a custom cutout Nanuk 930 case. Quite nice and serves the purpose well. However, for photography, video, and drone/aerial stuff, I was carrying a 930 case for my Nikon D850 camera w/18-35mm lens (and several other lenses), and a Lowepro ProTactic 450 AW for my drone. Aerial photos are requested on EVERY listing. So nonstarter, I bring my drone to every engagement. I wanted to consolidate down to two cases. For real estate photography, I only ever need the 18-35mm. So was looking for something to hold Nikon/18-35mm plus drone. Nanuk offers a case for a DJI Mavic Pro drone, but that does not accommodate the iPad nor the MavMount holder for my iPad, and certainly not the Nikon +18-35mm. The other 930 I had would not accommodate the Nikon plus drone. Looking at my options, I ended up purchasing the Nanuk 933 w dividers and lid organizer. (see attached photo). The extra depth of the 933 enabled me to pack all the gear I needed. The 933 w dividers allows me to segment the case to accommodate the aerial stuff I need, plus the, Nikon plus the 18-35mm, plus stow the iPad in the lid. For me, the optimal solution. As a weird aside, pay attention to the pricing for the 933. The yellow w/ dividers and lid organizer is $341, whereas the orange is $202. Then there are intermediary prices depending on color. Fortunately for me, I was fine with the orange (though would have preferred yellow). I now have 5 Nanuk cases in various configurations. As such, I can mix and match depending on the requirement. The net is that I have total confidence that the Nunuk case will protect my very expensive gear. I won't travel without it.

[Zoom Gear] I recently moved from the A6000 to A7ii full frame. Having owned a number of lenses for APS-C, I was torn in moving to the A7 series whether I should go with primes or zooms. I mainly do landscape photography and I was hesitant to go with this zoom lens over a dedicated prime. I am not a pixel peeper, but I do like to confirm when purchasing a new lens that it’s sharp in center and reasonably sharp on the corners and edges. I likely watched every review and video on this lens. Most reviews spoke very highly of the lens with the only concern being that it tended towards softness at 35mm. This did not concern me as I was mainly looking towards its use from 16-24 (my favorite focal lengths for landscapes). After purchasing the lens, I can see where so many photographers, including landscape pros, carry on about this lens. I have found CA to be quite low even at f/4. 16mm wide open is impressively sharp through the entire frame. Focus is accurate and quick. The lens produces striking sunstars with well managed flare. I also found that 35mm stopped down to f/8 is more than adequate for my needs. The lens body has a high quality feel which is typical for Sony Zeiss lenses, I am quite pleased with this lens and find that  f/4 is not a limitation for my type of photography. I highly recommend this lens.
