[Yes] If you are a Leica fan, a 35mm film shooter, and believe in the virtues of the rangefinder system, the MP will satisfy your needs. It is a lot of money, but it is a brilliant piece of gear that will do what you want it to do. I use two other Leica cameras, M6's, so this the perfect addition to my system. You will be glad you made the purchase.

[Black] This pouch fits my Leica M rangefinder with a 35mm lens & hood attached perfectly. I avoid dedicated camera bags, trying to be as inconspicuous as possible. With my camera protected with this pouch, I can safely toss it into a knapsack along with other stuff.

[-2 to 20 EV] I purchased the Leica MP with a 35mm F/2 Summicron and use this for general walk-around/travel photography. I don't consider myself a street photographer, but I've been intrigued with rangefinder cameras for quite some time. Build quality is amazing. The camera feels like a solid block of metal. I would have preferred a match needle meter instead of the LED lights, but there's really not much to complain about. I'm a left-eye shooter, so things can get a little uncomfortable with the winder, but I'm used to that from my older cameras. Holding the camera properly takes some getting used to. I found myself covering the rangefinder mirror on the right side by accident on a few occassions. Also, I wish faster shutterspeeds were available, but I understand there are limitations due to the type of shutter used. Overall, the MP is a pleasure to use, and is quickly becoming my favorite camera.

[Yes] This is a good strap for my rangefinder film camera that I can carry around my neck but also flexible enough to coil around my wrist for one handed shooting on the streets.

[0.02 lb] I own a Leica MP film camera as well as the Leica M11-P digital camera. Thanks to this diopter I can now focus my rangefinder cameras in lightening speed.

[Optical] The Mint InstantKon RF70 is, for me, the optimal combination of quality and convenience for shooting Instax film. I can get more quality and character from my 4x5 camera with Lomograflok Instax back, but that is a time-consuming process and obviously impossible for handheld use. The InstantKon RF70 has a high-quality lens: sharp with pleasing bokeh at wide apertures. Build quality is decent: definitely superior to Fuji's Instax cameras. Be aware that the rangefinder and viewfinder are separate, so shooting is not quite as fast in actual use as it would be with a combined rangefinder / viewfinder. My copy sometimes needs a little help ejecting the dark slide from the film pack: cutting or removing the tape at the top of the film pack solves the problem. I love using the camera and am very pleased with the results.

[Men's XS] My best bag for a small rangefinder film camera, an extra lens, a light meter, contrast filters, and a dozen of so rolls of film. Perhaps because of Domke's long history as a top photo bag maker, they still have ample side pockets for film rolls. Most small bags now do not have room for anything other than camera body, lens, extra batteries and memory cards.

[Standard 35mm] This is simply an outstanding film rangefinder camera, but let's be honest, most of the Leica film bodies are wonderful. The build quality is top notch. The MP viewfinder is improved over the M6 (classic) with less/no flare, smoother operation and quieter shutter. Overall such a joy to use.

[f/1.5] I use this lens on both a film rangefinder camera as well as an A7 R2 as well is a GX 85 using a passive Metabones adapter. The performance is awesome. Edge to edge flat and clean without any sense of vignetting or distortion. In particular the bokeh is absolutely fabulous. At F1 .5 up to F5 .6 it is really easy to completely blur the background in a very narrow to a larger range depending on your distance from the subject. The build quality is as good as any Zeiss I own. The action from both the aperture as well as the focus ring are as smooth as silk.
