35Mm Film Still Camera Frame Size

[Built-In] I was pleasantly surprised by the size and weight of this camera. The ease of carrying it around meant that I'd actually have a camera on hand to capture everyday moments. The image quality from the plastic lens is perfectly adequate for capturing casual shots, though some smearing at the edges of the frame should be expected. Users should be aware of the fixed aperture and shutter speed in changing light. I've used 400-speed film stock in various light conditions without too much issue, though the flash absolutely must be toggled on in mid-to-low light. The half-frame format aids in making film photography a bit more accessible, though it's worth noting that the mesh blinders on the viewfinder to approximate the half-frame take some getting used to.

[0.1 lb] This makes my 35mm film scanning fast and easy, for both strips and uncut rolls of 35mm film. The build quality is robust and solid, and this carrier securely attaches to my light source with the Negative Supply stabilizing mask. The including interchange format masks for this carrier are super helpful. I shoot regular 35mm and half frame, and not having to add additional masks is rad! The carrier includes half frame, full frame, and panoramic format masks. This is a massive leg up in terms of sharpness/film flatness over the Valoi carrier I previously used, as well as the Skier system I used before that.

[f/22] 21mm has always been a favorite focal length of mine for full frame 35mm film cameras. The XF 14 f2.8 being the equivalent on an APS-C sized imager was a natural 2nd lens for my recently purchased XE-1. So far, the results are excellent. Amply fast, relatively distortionless and smooth in operation.

[US Plug] Great battery and I'am using it with an Arriflex 35BL2 35mm film camera.

[1x] I use this with a Sony camera to scan 35mm film. It's flawless. I combine with the Essential Film Holder and it works very well.

[4.35 lb] This is the goat when it comes to 35mm film camera. I 'm glad Leica is still making it. Love it!

[f/1.8] If you are using an APS-C camera (D3x00, D5x00, or D7x00) this lens will limit your angle of view to 31*, which in turn limits you to what types of pictures you can take. If you prefer to take pictures where your subject is generally 10 feet in distance or closer, then the 35mm is a better bet. That being said, I got a few killer macro shots with this lens. It is a fantastic lens for what it is meant for, a full frame DSLR. I found myself backing up many times to get everything I wanted in frame, and even then ran out of room. You will lose some shots with this lens + APS-C. If you do have the smaller sensor, I'd recommend going with the 35mm first, then picking this lens up 2nd. I've only had this lens a couple days and I already want the 35mm. I have a feeling it will be much more versatile with only slightly worse optics.
