[Black] Realised I could probably use an old Bose Sounddock as a speaker for a 2023 Mac Mini, instead of buying something new, and came looking for a cable. Admit to being overly attracted by the colour, as this all sits in my bedroom, with the cables very visible, but the thing is solid and seems very well-made. Those right-angles make everything sit much better too. Sounds great.

This is a wonderful blue SoundLink Max speaker, a bigger brother of mini special edition, comes with a 5v 3amp charger with a USB C cable. The high quality build material of the speaker makes comfortable to hold. I especially like the soft feel of buttons. The Bluetooth connection is a breeze to connect. It is a convenient size to move around between rooms. It reports battery remaining percentage when the speaker is turned on. I also compare with B&O A2, a speaker at the same price point. It has deeper bass and warmer sound than A2. The addition of Bose app with Equalizer adjustment enhances sound enjoyment further. It sounds rich even during low volume.

[12 VDC] Impressive! I wasn't sure what to think reading the other 5 star reviews as this affordable, small box could be so good. I bought this to use for wedding rehearsals and other small events at our wedding venue so I did not need to bring out the larger system I use for weddings. This unit has great volume with really good sound quality. It is easy to use, has separate volume controls for the connected device and the microphone and allows connections from many other devices. Bluetooth pairing is easy and fast. It worked well with both my cellphone and laptop. Other inputs include a 1/4 microphone jack for a corded microphone, a stereo aux input, and a USB port for a memory stick. I kind of laughed at the wireless microphone when I opened it. A lightweight plastic body (2-AA batteries not included) seemed kind of cheap and some of the AA batteries I tried were a little too long to fit. My mind was changed when I turned it on to test it. Instant connection, great sound quality and I got over 200' of wireless distance in a straight line line of sight with just a few obstructions from bushes. You do need to speak into the mic as it is pretty directional, but no complaints. The speaker utilizes a rechargeable battery. I am not sure of the the battery life and I will update when this is known. The speaker will also operate with the included adapter and has an additional 12V DC input for use with a auto cord or other 12V DC power source. If you are considering a Bluetooth speaker, but want volume, clarity, and bass get this instead.
