[Blue] I use a 61-key MIDI controller with my laptop as a keyboard in band, and recently purchased a Yorkville keyboard amplifier. The amplifier has unusual inputs... two quarter inch jacks in channel 2, which is the channel optimized for keyboard... I was surprised to find a chord that was exactly what I needed, with an eighth-inch headphone end to plug into my laptop and two quarter inch ends to plug into the amplifier. The chord fits my setup perfectly and appears to maintain audio quality very well.

[2 RU] Excellent and inexpensive fix for problem with loud band that can be very over-powering. With the headphone amplifier they can turn themselves up as loud as they want in the headphone without affecting the level of the house, less of a headache for the sound technician.

[8 Hours ] I bought the Rolls Headphone Amplifier to allow several people to simultaneously monitor an audio feed and it has worked well. A power-cube is included for use when a power outlet is available, however I am using it in the Field so the 9v battery which can power it allows me to use the Rolls Amplifier anywhere. I am pleased with the rugged metal construction and the simple power switch and individual level controls, the Rolls sounds wonderful and I have tested it with several different portable Recorders and Headphones and I am quite pleased and would certainly purchase it again and can recommend it wholeheartedly.

[< 0.007% ] With more people working from home, two or more people with this headphone amplifier can listen to a video stream without disturbing others. In a family Skype or zoom call, different family members can adjust the volume levels to their liking. And the sound quality is great. Attaching studio headphones to the 3.5mm analog out of my laptop provides a great sound experience, better than without extra amplification. Such a small and reasonably priced device with so many applications!

[2] This is an incredible DAC, which also is a pre-amplifier with a headphone amplifier. The only thing I miss is the balance control, but that's OK. Easier better than my other two DACs.

[1 User] It's a great headphone amplifier, but what's also nice is it has one output for monitor speakers, with a volume knob control. We send this to the powered speakers in our school's edit lab, making it very easy to adjust volume independently to the headphones or the speakers at our Instructor station iMac.

[2] I ordered this amplifier to amplify my Sony LCD TV that had no headphone jack. Using the low level audio out RCA jacks the Pyle PTA2 works wonderfully to allow me to use just headphones. Being hearing impaired it certainly saved the day. It is always nice to buy from B&H Photo.......Haven't found any cons with the amplifier so far.

I purchased this headphone amplifier for my recording studio use. I used Personus HP60 and Behringer HA8000. Both supplied insufficient power to the headphones when musicians play their instruments. This ART amplifier drives Beyerdynamic DT-880-pro-250 well. Knob layouts are well thought and the amplifier can be tweaked without requiring too much attentions. The circuit diagram, which is printed on the top of the unit, gives a great help.

[2] As a beginner podcaster I didn't want to spend a fortune. This amplifier fits the bill. It's small and wasn't expensive. It comes with an AC plug but you have to provide the audio out/headphone cable that comes from either your mixer, recorder, or computer into the amplifier. The input is not the small headphone mini audio stereo cable. It's the wider headphone cable. Also, every headphone that's plugged into this amplifier is also the wider cable (1/4) so if your headphones are the mini you need an adapter. This wasn't an essential item for my beginning podcasting kit but this amplifier makes it such a small investment that I think it's worth it.

[44 dB] I selected this headphone amplifier for my home studio after comparing many alternatives for one primary reason: Discrete, balanced inputs for all signals. Even though my snake from control room to studio is only 50 feet, it is enough to pick up line frequency hum for units with unbalanced inputs. The Tascam MH-8 has individual, Left/Right balanced inputs for 2 shared and 8 individual channel inputs which gives enormous flexibility on the back-side patch panel. Having 8 output channels is also an advantage vs the more typical 6 since most computer interfaces and mixers have groups of 8 channels for more of me use. The sound quality is very good, clean and dominated by the quality of the headphones used. I'll be picking up a 2'nd unit, chaining the 2 common inputs, and adding 8 more discrete inputs. I'm very satisfied with this unit.
