[512 MB] The Ubiquiti / Unifi 48-Port Gbps PoE managed switch is so easy to install, even cavemen say its easy! No serious networking skills required to install. Just have a basic knowledge of network fundamentals, know where your feed is from your broadband modem/router is, plug it in and hang your devices from it. This is even better if you have Ubiquiti UniFi AP AC PRO (PoE) 802.11ac Scalable Enterprise Wi-Fi Access Points wired to the switch so you can easily manage your wifi access points. The 48-Port Gb PoE switch is managed by downloading the Unifi Network Server software which by plugging-in your laptop's ethernet port to a port on switch and then running the software lets you adopt the managed switch, then adopt the access points (AP), assign them wifi names and select which AP gets all or specific wifi access which you can control guest and private access points. Ubiquiti has a long history of producing GREAT products and online support videos and tutorials for everyone to follow and figure out in minutes/hours based on your knowledge and skills. GET THIS SWITCH for current and future networking needs!

[3 Year] I bought this as a supplement to a 1930 48-Port switch when I realized I was almost out of ports. Setup is super easy and the user interface is great. Setting up a guest network is a breeze. No issues so far.

[512] Excellent 16 port managed switch at a reasonable price. User friendly web management, small form factor and quiet. Well suited for indoor use in a quiet environment. Very pleased.

[15.4 W] This has been an excellent switch, and easily managed via the UniFi controller. The auto-sensing 802.3af ports (4 of them) are currently powering two access points and one Ubiquiti USW flex mini switch (USW-Flex-Mini), which is an awesome little 5 port switch in its own right. I'm able to set up separate port VLANS and other fun stuff on it. It's also a well built metal switch. It does get fairly hot, but not excessively, so you won't want to put it in a small, confined space without some air movement.

[168 Gb/s ] I finally talked myself into getting a managed switch. Since I owned a Unifi Dream Machine Pro, it made since to get a Unifi switch. It is easy to configured. My homelab now has multiple segments and I have an easy-to-manage user interface. Honestly, it's easier than I thought it would be. I use the PoE to power cameras and access points. One word of advice - I might recommend getting the 24 port instead of the 16 port. I'm starting to fill up slots. Other thoughts - I have this in a homelab rack. I do not notice the fan on this switch. Then again, my server is kind of loud so not too surprising.

[8 MB] This managed POE switch is extremely solid. I have zero complaints about it. The GUI was great in setting up the port management. Currently using 2 VLANS, one for A/V traffic and the other one for general usage. This little guy is also powering a UAP-Lite. So far it doesn't even feel warm to the touch and it's located behind a credenza. I love Ubiquiti stuff. The equipment is always solid. Can't go wrong.

[32 Gb/s ] Great 16 port managed switch for the price. For any business I recommend at least a managed switch and for the price of this one its been working great so far. Pretty simple GUI with VLan support.

[Yes] I don't need any PoE ports, but this is my first managed switch, and I like it. I could use more ports altogether, so when I upgrade to a 16- or 24-port model this will go on my desk, but until then this does the job.
