4K 2.1 Gaming Monitor

[VA LCD] This monitor is just like all other 4k QD-OLED monitors out there but gets that extra kick of DP 2.1 which is great if you are looking to future proof a little bit and not have to deal with DSC in the future. The monitor has OLED care on by default and has many customizable options within its easy to navigate menus.

[0.275 lb] The Pearstone DisplayPort 2.1. DP40 is a great cable for my 4k monitor. It looks like a normal cable but it has some serious stats to it. It can handle up to 8k at 30hz or 4k at 144hz as well as carrying HDR10+ and Dolby vision. If you are a gamer this cable is a great high performance cable. The build quality seems solid too. Gold-plated connectors are always a nice touch, and the PVC jacket feels durable. At 6.6 feet long, it's got enough reach for most setups without being overkill. [60 Hz] is HDR10 available on my 32" UR59C CURVED 4K UHD MONITOR? I would like to use it to play games on my gaming console with HDR10 but it doesn't seem to work

[138 ppi] I've been using a 4k screen for a couple of years, but it was a Samsung TV as I wanted a larger screen and nothing in the monitor space yet existed. It was a good experience, I didn't have any issues - regardless of what people say about using TVs as monitors. However, once I noticed that OLED monitors were coming around, I considered going back. I wasn't crazy about dealing with burn-in and the odd ways manufactures try to prevent it. Instead, I wanted to see what Samsung was up to in the gaming monitor space. I came across this and was immediately drawn in because of the high fresh rate and it being 4k. I didn't consider the G8 because I didn't think the even higher refresh rate warranted the extra cost. Once I got the G7 connected, it was like playing games for the first time. Cyberpunk looked incredibly better than my 4k TV, colors popped and I could see details that I couldn't previously. The curvature is a bit odd at first, especially in Windows, but for gaming, I really like it. The high refresh rate was a new experience as well - I hadn't had anything higher than 60Hz, so again it was a new experience. This makes a big different not only in gaming, but using Windows - everything is so smooth. The height adjustment was another helpful feature as I needed it to be in a specific place. Without it, I would have had to use a box or something else unsightly. I'm not an RGB person, but found that I liked messing with the colors and do leave a solid color on most of the time. My only complaint, is the buttons to control the settings. I have some business monitors for work that are also Samsung and they use the same buttons. It's not my favorite and it feels a bit cheap. For an $1100 monitor, I'd expect a bit more, but it's not something I use often. I feel the monitor is on the expensive side, but it is worth it if you have the machine to push high end graphics to it.

[1000:1] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first ever gaming monitor I’ve ever owned or bought. I bought this monitor for my PlayStation 5!! And I have No regrets well worth the price I use to game on my Samsung 4K tv which has a refresh rate of 120hz but it only had the HDMI 2.0 input at first I thought it was going to be weird going from a 55” Tv to a 27” monitor but right off that bat it just doesn’t compare gaming in a 27 inches is perfect for gaming I was doing it all wrong! And the 4K quality looks better on my LG monitor than it did on my Samsung TV and now I can take Advantage of the 120FPS features on certain games for my PS5 overall I’m very happy with my new monitor and would for sure recommend it to my friends or anyone to buy it if they can.
