To use an external or any other device that uses a usb port, you'll need this adaptor. I also recommend getting an adapter that has a mini USB port on the adapter so you can keep your tablet charging while you use it with the USB device. 5 |

[10x 3.5" ] I had a handful of various USB hard drive enclosures attached to my Plex server for storing media, backups, etc. I replaced all of those units with this and it cleaned up things very nicely. There are now fewer cords to manage, better transfer speeds and room for expansion. I love it! The best part is I didn't have to reformat any of the drives. I just powered things down, moved them over and powered everything back up. Everything showed up just as it was before. Perfect! 5 |
