50 Feet Ethernet Cable Cat 5E

[RJ45] These connectors worked great on the outdoor cat 5e cabling I was using that has thicker insulation.

[Blue] Product works as advertised. Tests Cat 5e and 6 cables for proper pinout reliably. Also generates a tone to detect remotely with included probe.

[836,517 hours] After a recent renovation, I ran cat-5e to every room in the house, in hope of having less traffic through the wireless and a more secure environment. It just made sense at that point to upgrade to GigE, and this product was perfect for the project, given the extra number of connections.

[RJ45] Few Cat 5 cables cost $, even 50 foot cables. This one does and is worth every penny. We use a 50 cable because we move between machines with the connector, while the modem stays stationary. The cable has a thick outer covering that appears to act as superior shielding. Long cables usually lose speed; this one does not. The heavy outer sheath also decreases the tendency of the cable to tie itself in knots. The cable gets heavy use and lives up to it.
