But the projector had a different idea. I learned from the professionals at B+H that this unit requires an older USB 2.0 Flash Drive. I never would have thought of that but sure enough, when I used this Verbatim 64G Ergo USB 2.0, the projector recognized the videos and played them flawlessly.

[Black] Used it to clone my dad's 500GB MacBook Pro hard drive to a 500GB Samsung SSD. Removed the old hard drive, placed both in the dock and presto! Worked perfectly. Took an hour and a half for the whole job. I also purchased the little tool kit that came up when I put the hard drive in the cart. Now the computer is fast again.
