[Plastic] Fits perfectly on my 50mm 1.2

[Canon RF] I bought several 7 Artisan lenses - this fits the Lumix G95 far better than the 50mm F.095 for infinity / distance shooting. It is remarkably good glass, solid build and light weight. It is certainly sharp at slightly before F2 and onward. I have found it to be a very useful bit of Kit. The two photos show full frame and then a crop of the Moon - at F 8 - 10. It also has very good color rendition. At the price point it is an incredible buy.

[43 mm (Front)] I use this on a GH5 and I'm impressed. Sharpness at f.95 looks very good, especially center of frame. I was using the Canon 1.8 STM 50mm with a Viltrox EF-M2 lens adapter, which allowed me to stop down to f1.3, but the image I was getting was fairly soft. Bought this to replace it, albeit a bit wider than the 50mm (1.6x crop w/ Viltrox) but the image looks much sharper. Was also impressed with the build quality. It's a compact lens but it has some weight to it. Feels very sturdy and aperture and focus rings turn smoothly with clickless aperture. All and all, I would definitely recommend for someone that may be a little skeptical because of the price. Oh yeah, the little case it ships in is a nice touch, too.

[1 lb] This Voigtlander 58mm f1.4 lens is fabulous. It is extremely sharp and the bokeh is wonderful. I tested this lens compared to other 50mm lens I own (Nikkor 50mm 1.4 non-Ai, Nikkor 50 mm 2.0 Ai, Nikkor 50mm 1.8D, Fujifilm 35mm f2.0 WR). The Voigtlander was a clear winner. I will use this on my Fujifilm X-E2, X-t1 and Nikon D600.

[58 mm (Front)] Youd think for the price this would have some flaws. At f.1/4 its pretty sharp at f.2 its razor sharp. I did not look at the outer edges of the frames as Im concerned with my subject. Good buy for the price.

[62 mm (Front)] I have both the Rokinon 35mm f/1.2 and the 50mm f/1.2 for my Canon M5. Both lenses are rockstars. While they require manual adjustment of the aperture and focus, I actually appreciate that level of engagement when shooting with prime lenses. This lens is usably sharp at f/1.2, much more so than the Canon 50mm f/1.2 (roughly the same focal length when mounted on their respective native cameras). The richness of the colors and contrast is on par with the EF-M 22mm, which is good. This lens also gets top marks for bokeh and build quality. If you're looking to add fast primes to your M kit and know how to shoot on manual with manual focus, this lens will deliver.

[52 mm (Front)] I’ve owned many Voigtländer lenses: the 40mm f/1.2, the 50mm f/1.2, and the 65mm APO. All of those left me for one reason or another. The 1.2s were so soft wide open and showed horrible chromatic aberration, and while the 65mm was as optically perfect as a lens could be, it was just too massive to be carried around casually. This 50mm f/2 APO-Lanthar is simply perfect for me. The lens has amazing contrast and color renditioning (on par to the 65mm), shows no chromatic aberration (unlike the f/1.2s), and it is comically compact. I find this to be the perfect lens when you just want to bring your camera along with nothing specific in mind to shoot. It makes mundane scenes seem interesting and adds so much life to to planned shots. The manual focus makes nailing a shot so much more satisfying, and Sony’s ease of use in regards to MF lenses makes for a quick learning curve. I absolutely could not recommend this lens more.

[f/2] I have to say that when you already have a ttartisan 50mm 1.2 in the bag, this made me think a bit, but in vain. now I just have to think carefully about which one I leave in the bag or both. it is on the other hand such a similar yet such a different lens. but for comparison, this f2 lens is really small and fits well with my xt4 camera to shoot different situations .

[Glass] Everything works as it should. Great blending of color on my chrome Light 50mm 1.2 lens. No perceivable refraction.

[47.5°] This lens performs very well, even below f/1.7. Chromatic aberration is not negligible full open, but that is of course easily correctable (if you care more about CA than speed, check out the 50mm f/2 APO-Lanthar of course). It renders a rather dreamy image at f/1.2 but stopped down to something actually sane gets great results thanks to the aspherical design. This is prime portrait glass material, the rendering is reminiscent of my favorite Nikkors but with vastly smoother and more modern ergonomics (though I do miss heptagonal/hexagonal bokeh!). My only complaint about the 40mm & 50mm Noktons is that they are a little chunky for me in the hand, compared to the 35mm f/2 APO-Lanthar, but that I assume is simply the price of speed. They're all quite a bit smaller than the 65mm APO-Lanthar and a lot of modern fast lenses, so it's barely a complaint. My primary use case is for interior fixed-angle video for multi-cam recording. Having this kind of speed when you need it can absolutely save a dark or poorly lit shot in terms of cutting back ISO when you have no other options! Some example shots straight out the camera (no correction) below, f/1.2 to f/1.6.
