[11.1 VDC] I use this battery as a back-up to my Nikon battery EN-EL4a rechargeable Lithium-ion Battery Pack. I always use my original Nikon battery but if I am out in the field and my Nikon battery goes down after many shots, I then switch to the the Watson EN-EL4A Lithium-Ion Battery Pack as my back-up until I can re-charge the Nikon battery again at home. I find it's more economical using it that way since there is such a big price difference between the Nikon Battery and the Watson Battery. However the Watson battery is a very good battery and reliable in every way. 5 |

Awesome flash light love the rechargeable battery pack and cable 5 |

[Steel] I purchased this battery pack to replace an other one that used a rechargeable internal camera type of battery that would no longer hold a charge. To replace the battery was more than this unit cost. Love the fact this pack uses good old fashion AA batteries. Works perfect for my needs. 5 |

[Multiple] Product is much lighter than my rechargeable battery pack. I bought it because I can just switch out the batteries if it starts to run out of juice as opposed to having to recharge its battery. Maintained good connection with my Canon flashes-600 EXII-RT. It increased my flash time immensely and I feel much more confident that my flash will continue to fire with it. I have 3 600's and they all fire much better with this battery pack attached. 5 |

[0.185 lb] Great light but getting the rechargeable battery will make you use it so much more often. 5 |

[0.495 lb] One of the Q&A’s says the Bescor BLS50AC dummy battery adapter kit is not compatible with the Olympus E-PL9. I asked Bescor ( answers@bescor.com ) why the kit is compatible with the Olympus OM-D E-M5/M10, but not the Olympus Pen E PL9, since all three use the same Olympus BLS-50 battery. The response was: “It will work. Your camera just needs to be added to our list.” The Bescor is 8V 3A. The Olympus battery is 7.2V 1175 mAh (1.175A). I did some online research to see if a device built for 7.2V could operate at 8V. One person describing himself as an engineer posted that 7.4V Lithium batteries actually span a 6V to 8.4v voltage range depending on state of charge of the battery. Another “senior electrical engineer” said that because all devices are designed with some voltage tolerance value, a 7.4 volt device means 7.4 volt +/- 1 to 1.5 volts. Still other posts indicated that you can use a 3A power adapter on a 1.5A device. By logical extension, I figured (I don’t actually know) that since the PL9 uses a 7.2 volt battery, it is probably designed to also work at 8 volts, and is also okay running at 3A. Based on the response from Bescor and the Internet voltage and amperage responses, I decided to purchase the Bescor and use it with my PL9. I haven’t seen any sign of overheating or other problems with this setup so far, but will update this review if that changes. I did not deduct points for the need to leave the battery compartment open because I knew that would be the case when I bought it. 5 |

[11.66 lb] The condition of the 7.2V battery could only be determined by the proper operation in the GigaPan unit. The original battery received did not take a full charge, but the exchange for a good battery was done quickly and professionally! 5 |
