[8 TB] Bought 2 for my 2 bay NAS. Plenty of storage at a fantastic price. I have always had great success with WD drives.

[100 (Client)] I have recently purchased this Qnap TS-932PX-4G 9-Bay NAS Enclosure to be used as a storage device for backup. The data transfer speed is extremally fast as well as network connectivity. I would recommend this product for a storage solution in a network environment to anyone

[450 GB] I purchased two of these drives for installation in my new DiskStation DS212j 2-Bay NAS Server by Synology. I set them up with a RAID 1 format to have my data mirrored. The price was very reasonable and the units are very quiet. With two of these drives, together on my desk, I expected more noise - but was pleasantly surprised. The throughput is fast when transferring music and pictures. I would recommend to a friend.

[4x 3.5"] I ordered the WD My Cloud 32TB 4-Bay NAS Server from B&H and after a few days I realized that I had ordered the wrong item I want the the PRO not the EX so after about a week I call B&H told them what I had done and the said no problem shipped out the WD My Cloud PR4100 32TB 4-Bay NAS Server I wanted and set up a RMA for the return of the 1st NAS... they even sent the return postage label all in about 8mins... one call that's all. AND that is why I use B&H the CX service is the best in the industry. I'm so happy with WD My Cloud PR4100 32TB 4-Bay NAS Server, built like a tank! - gregory B. Ky

[Yes 1 RU] This unit is an incredible value. ZFS for network storage with ECC memory is exactly what you want. It has a powerful processor that also has embedded graphics. The GPU pass through for VM's works with the current version of QUTS Hero. In case the outdated review saying PCI-E pass-though to virtualization station doesn't work was deterring you and making you look at the 12 bay model, that is no longer valid. It didn't work at launch, but QNAP resolved that. It has several expansion slots, 12x 3.5" bays, 4x 2.5" bays, and 2x NVMe slots, and a dual 10GB NIC out of the box. You can get a small form factor bracket for the NIC and move it to the expansion ports on the other side to free up the full size slot for a GPU or other full size expansion card. I like that the 32GB of RAM is only using 2x 16GB sticks, so you can double or triple your memory without wasting the expensive ECC memory that comes with it. I personally added a 64GB (2x 32GB) kit and have 96GB of ram with a dedicated GPU. It has a power connector included for more power consuming GPU's. It just makes more sense than the 12 bay. You get 4x extra HDD bays and double the RAM. When you go to expand your 12 bay or have to upgrade the RAM, you will realize you should have just bought the 16 bay. You will spend way more on storage than the NAS itself, so it's worth getting a good NAS. The new all flash desktop NAS QNAP recently came out with, the TH-S1290FX (all flash) is the only thing more powerful at the moment in desktop form at the time of writing this. They each have their own uses. The only real downside to this or any QNAP NAS is that they do not have the best support. Synology's support is better, but not great. Synology is also turning in to an "Apple" like anti consumer company, that is trying to force you to use only their hard drives and "official" components.

[9 x 8 x 3.1"] Price with discount was very good! Easy to setup as a scheduled backup of my 2 bay NAS system. This provides me the assurance of having a separate / secondary backup of my data.

[40 G / 2.0 ms] Several months now, no issues. Not as loud as some people state. I have a solid construction NAS 6 bay and have it sitting on my computer desk as I work. The noise is only when accessing large files and once a week virus scan which is to be expected, other than that all is good.

[1.255 lb] These have been rock solid for 5 years of 24/7 operation in my 4 bay NAS. Am having to replace 2 of them now as they've started to have bad sectors, but very pleased they've lasted as long as they have. Looking forward to another 5yrs with this one.
