8 String Classical Guitar Strings

[9 V battery] I'm a jazz guitarist playing an 8-string classical guitar that goes higher and lower than a regular guitar. It has a K & K pickup and I my amp is a JBL EON powered speaker, which, for this instrument sounds better than any jazz guitar amp. I have used the Zoom A-3 preamp as well as an L.R. Baggs Venue DI. They are both very good but I'd say the Grace Alix is the best I've found. It has great features you can read about but I must say that the sound of my guitar with the EQ set flat is strong, clear and simply amazing! It's very well thought out. Worth the price.

[Non-Cutaway] Works very well on my Cordoba nylon string classical guitar. Firm pressure, grip is effective but doesn't damage anything. Easy to use.

[Synthesizer] Lots of articulations that play well together. I also find the synchron player easier/faster to use than Vienna's older Vienna Instrument player or Kontakt based sample sets. Note that Elite sits somewhere between Chamber and Pro/I orchestra in terms of number of strings. I find that the number of strings in the Pro/I orchestra is enough that you lose some of that sense of 'bow on string'. With Elite you still hear some of that 'bow on the string'. Layering Elite on Pro is also really useful.

[0.04 lb] I like this design very much as the strings on the end don't get in the way of your hands the way that most straps do. I finally had a string break after about a year and a half of use, but I already had these replacement ends on hand, so no problem. Recommended!

[Yes] I've been working as a guitar teacher for decades and have always used D'Addario strings on all my guitars because of their consistently good quality and balanced tone. I don't think I've ever had a bad set. These EJ 16-3D Light Phosphor Bronze acoustic guitar strings have a nice warm sound and just the right balance between the bass and treble strings.

[0.55] I was looking for a cheap guitar with laminate construction that I could take on trips, camping, etc. This guitar received many favorable reviews on many sites and for the price there was no reason not to give it a try. The guitar was delivered in good condition with reasonable action, strings in good condition and tuners, while not high quality, keep the strings reasonably in tune. I did adjust the action and changed strings, which improved playability and sound. The finish is on the low end but I'm fine with it. The sound is pleasantly good. It is not tonally full or as resonant as guitars at a higher price point, but isn't that expected? I'm quite surprised by how good this guitar is and its $79.99 delivered. It will be a great travel / camping guitar. I order another one just because it's cheap, plays well and sounds fine for my intended use of this guitar.

[Soprano Ukulele] This is a beautiful ukulele. I'm a novice at ukulele (although I've played guitar before) and want to try learning this. The first few songs I've learned have a nice tone. The tuning doesn't seem quite as stable as my steel-stringed guitar, so I need to tune it a bit more at the start of each session, although that may be something that's inherent with nylon strings. Regarding the strings, though, the feel of them is nice, and my fingers aren't all calloused yet, the way they get when I play the guitar frequently. As for price, you can't beat this, especially with the package deal. Get it.
