[Autofocus] I was so excited about getting this lens after owning a previously much slower focusing EF 85mm f/1.2. This lens is one the sharpest and fastest focusing lenses in my bag and just as good as the RF 135 f/1.8. I almost always shoot wide open at f/1.2 and the focus never fails. It results in such beautiful background separation and is rivaled only by EF 200 f/2.0 lens. This is a must have lens for a wedding and portrait photographers.

[ARRI PL] I owned & used this 85mm Xeen Cinema PL mount prime for over 2 years mating it with the Sony F55 CineAlta. It is an extremely well built lens with fantastic image quality. I shoot for all the major networks and this has always been my go to lens for my A-cam camera for beautiful interviews with lovely bokeh. Focus turn is smooth and firm for tactile hand & follow focus control. Could not be happier.

[Nikon Z] The Venus Optics 85mm macro lens for M mount is an excellent optic, Well built of metal and glass, extremely sharp and focuses to 2X. Before trying it I was a bit concerned with the F 5.6 aperture. After using it, I found it to be quite satisfactory and this aperture allows it to be very small. I highly recommend the Venus Optics Laowa 85mm macro!

[48 x 4.5 x 4.5"] I was very interested in getting into macro photography, but did not want to spend hundreds of dollars for a dedicated lens at this point. I decided on extension tubes. After reading many reviews, I found these Vello tubes. They are wonderful for my needs, and sturdier than I expected. I have no trouble getting them on/off the camera/lenses, and they fit well with no looseness. I enjoy the flexibility of the various combinations of focal length. For a minimal price, I can use these extension tubes with my Canon 70D, using either a Canon EF-S 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM Lens (at 50-85mm) or Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS STM (at 55-100mm or so). Auto-focus works fairly well with these extension tubes, but sometimes manual focus is required. A tripod is a must for my equipment, as my lenses aren't very fast, but that's ok. Of course, with longer exposure times comes the frustration of moving subjects, e.g., flowers, on even a slightly windy day. With a lightbox, this won't be an issue. The extension tubes are a nice addition to my camera bag.

[Yes] I will use this bag most of the time - carries 60D with grip and EF-S 15-85mm lens attached in main compartment with 70-200mm f/4 L held in place with velcro divider. Padded side pockets can hold flash or smaller lenses like 85mm f/1.8. Excellent bag - black ballistic nylon with sage green interior looks really sharp. This is a great bag - made in USA. Domke logo is discreet as well on side pockets.

[Yes] This is a great way to convert EF mount lenses to a E mount. Iris control is smooth and the lenses seat very tightly. It takes a bit to learn how to seat an EF lens but once you get the hang of it the lens feels very secure. Not great if you want to use AF, but very few adapters are. Get E mount lenses if you want solid AF performance.

[Canon RF] I purchased this EOS EF-R adapter with the Drop-In CP filter primarily for use on my EOS R5 with my new IRIX 11mm f4 lens attached (since it has no front filter capability). However, even though I also have a Canon EOS EF-R mount adapter with control ring for my existing EF mount lenses, I like this super easy to use rear Drop-In CP filter design for all of my lenses, and not need to use my old front filter mount magnetic CP filters. The small rotation wheel with this adapter is super easy to use, much easier than a CP filter on the front of the lens. I also like that I can use my lenses with this CP filter still have my lens hoods attached. It's a bit expensive, but well worth it for me. Highly recommended.
