[ARRI PL] I owned & used this 85mm Xeen Cinema PL mount prime for over 2 years mating it with the Sony F55 CineAlta. It is an extremely well built lens with fantastic image quality. I shoot for all the major networks and this has always been my go to lens for my A-cam camera for beautiful interviews with lovely bokeh. Focus turn is smooth and firm for tactile hand & follow focus control. Could not be happier. 5 |

[f/1.8] I've been wanting a prime 85mm lens for a while and didn't realize this one was available without breaking the bank, so to speak. With f1.8 capabilities it allows the flexibility I need both for depth of field and capturing more available light. I have not noticed any softness around the edges or lack in quality (sharpness, etc.). Great lens! 5 |

[f/1.4] WOW!! I used to have the Canon 135 f2 but sold it right after receiving this Sigma 85mm f/1.4. Super sharp with gorgeous bokeh! The only negative...the ONLY one...is that I hate the lens weight. It is kind of heavy on your neck. Probably i need a shoulder belt to carry the camera with this lens. 5 |

[0.39 lb] I have only taken this out once but the results so far have been beautiful. In context, I've owned the Canon 85mm 1.2 and the Canon 85mm 1.4 back in my dslr days and the Sigma DG DN 85mm 1.4 lens most recently. I shoot a lot of on location portraits and found the 85mm to be too tight on many of the locations I shoot. With that, I reluctantly traded in the Sigma on the Sony 50mm 1.2 lens. I didn't have the funds to keep both. (The Sigma is an amazing lens btw). After shooting the Sony 50mm (another great lens) I found I really missed the compression of the 85mm focal length when I did have the room, so I started looking around for a sleeper and I found it! Im still recovering from the price tag of the Sony 50mm so I was looking for something cheaper than the Sigma to have on hand for those occasions I wanted an 85mm. This Tokina fits the bill perfectly. It is a simple, no bells and whistles piece of glass that takes images comparable to any of the best lenses Ive used. The difference between 1.8 and 1.4 is negligible at best and this is built like a tank with its metal construction. I got it on sale for $399 and is a steal at this price. After shooting this I couldn't justify spending the money on the Sigma again which was one of my all time favorites. It is a very basic lens but the images are awesome even when shot wide open at 1.8. 5 |

[Polyester] It can fit Canon 85mm 1.8/f without problem. It is easily accessible and good for quick change of lens. The plastic lock may look a bit shaky but it is tough enough to hold the weight of a small lens. The pouch material feels good enough to protect from minor impact. So in summary it is a good, light, handy pouch for small lens. 5 |

[Manual Focus] As previous owner of two Canon FD 85mm 1.2 lenses, and switching to Sony mirrorless, I wanted a low cost alternate and from it in the Rokinon 85mm 1.2 lens. Focusing a was smooth as silk and combined with magnification view provided by the a7III, produced outstanding images with that magical low depth of field. One exception, this lens is much sharper than the Canon FD counterpart. Summary, no regrets. 5 |

[f/22] I shot Canon for years including the legendary 85mm 1.2 lens that produced creamy bokeh. Well I love this lens even more! Razor sharp and a depth of field that’s more usable than the 1.2 was in a lot of situations. I will never sell this lens! I’d upload a photo but a10mp file doesn’t do this lens justice. Just buy and be amazed. 5 |

[18°] I recently purchased my new Rokinon SP 85mm F1.2 to go with my Canon 7D Mark 2 from B & H. This was my first purchase from B & H and it went very smoothly, without a problem. The lens arrived in perfect condition. It has performed as expected, very nice! The manual focus has not been an issue and works very well. It's not a wildlife lens but that's not why I bought it. Thus far, I am extremely satisfied with the process and product. 5 |
