88 Key Midi Controller M Audio

This is fairly simple to use and feels really sturdy. I used it to hold a 49-key midi keyboard over my 88 key. It works really well for that purpose, and I don't find that it inhibits my view of the bottom keyboard all that much. Plus, the angle is adjustable, so you can get it where you want it. This is way cheaper than buying an additional tiered stand, and I highly recommend it.

[USB Cable] The Hammer 88 is a no frills MIDI controller with a nice weighted action. Construction seems solid. A pretty good buy for the price.

[Cable] bought this to link my 88-key controller to the pc to run EZ Keys Grand Piano software. It is plenty long to get there and is plenty fast. Probably would be even better with a more expensive controller.

It has lots of integrated controls for modulating the included Arturia synth plugins and good integration with many popular DAW software packages. I opted for the semi-weighted 61 key version due to recovering from 60+ years of making parts and hand issues. There is an 88 key piano weighted version also.

[Download] I replaced my Casio PX-160 digital piano for this StudioLogic SL88 Studio MIDI keyboard controller. I really like the Casio PX-160 key action, however, this StudioLogic key bed with its touch action is a fine replacement to keep my fingers physically fit. This keyboard in conjunction with the lighter action Novation Launchkey 88 Mk3 MIDI keyboard makes a fine pair for alternating between touch and light action. This StudioLogic key bed is Fatar TP/100LR, a highly regarded and affordable key bed. Also this keyboard controller is Made in Italy. I am quite content with this purchase.

[3.3 lb] I am taking an Ableton LIve class and the bag is excellent for transporting my 25 key midi controller and laptop in one bag. Have plenty of space for notebook, sustain pedal and headphones...

[USB Bus Power] The M-Audio Keystation 88 MK3 88-Key keyboard is a great value in terms of features vs. price. It comes with a free DAW, as well as other tools to help you get started with recording. The semi-weighted keys feel decent for what they are and won't take long to get used to if coming from a GHS action keyboard. It's also light enough to easily move around, and the number of plugins and software options it interfaces with is vast.
