A Lightning To Hdmi Adapter Cable

[Genlock] Just plugged it into the lightning connector of my iPad, with an HDMI cable it connected instantly to a projector. Seemed a bit pricey but Apple connectivity, quality, and guaranteed compatibility is worth it. A great travel accessory for connecting to hotel TVs.

[Passive] This adapter transforms micro your micro USB cable into a much sturdier than Apple's original Lightning cable. It snaps on tightly, charges and transfers data well, works for both iPhone and iPad.

[0.06 lb] This is an adapter, NOT a cable. That said, as an adapter it does it's job well. I have used it to plug my iPhone (Lightning) into my PC (both USB-C and USB-A) to transfer files and it worked without a hitch. Useful as an adapter, but not long enough to be called a cable by any means.

[10 to 80% ()] It's always better to have single cable, than to use an adapter and a cable. This one does the job of connecting a DisplayPort to HDMI device.

[0.045 lb] I just ordered a 2nd adapter to keep at home for when I am working remotely. HDMI socket on work laptop is on right side - exactly where I place the mouse pad. I kept bumping into the HDMI cable with my mouse. This adapter redirects the HDMI cable toward the rear and AWAY from my mouse. Super easy fix for a nagging problem.

[0.1 lb] I have tested this adaptor with a different combination of computers, monitors and projectors without any big issues. The adapter comes in a small box the size of a cell phone but the thickness of two. The box is very difficult to open and the adapter sits in a flimsy tray within the box. The packaging was all wrecked removing the adaptor for the first time. The adapter has a VGA port on one side and the other side has a 3.5mm audio port, HDMI cable and Micro USB-B port. The adaptor says that is doesn't require any power so I am unsure why it has a USB port on. There are no included instructions in the box, on the box or on the web site to provide more information. When I first connected this adaptor to my computer I was shocked how quickly it was working. If I connected the HDMI port first to my computer then almost instantly of connecting a monitor the video and sounds were working. If I connect the VGA cable first, then audio and video start within 3 to 4 seconds as does any normal HDMI monitor. The sound and picture from this dongle were crisp, clear and without any delay. When I first played copy protected content (i.e. Netflix) the dongle stopped working and I had to disconnect then reconnect and it started working again. I have not been able to reproduce this issue since but I thought it would be worth noting. This adaptor starts working very quickly. I had doubts about converting HDMI to analog but my mind has been changed since using this adaptor. I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review.

[28 AWG] Had to buy this because I realized I needed a DVI-D plug instead of a DVI-I. I was using a DVI-D to HDMI adapter, but this cable is essentially a cable and adapter in one, no need for clunky adapters, works great!

[5.6 x 3 x 1"] Needed this adapter to take HDMI to mini cable from my video camera into a 7" monitor and this adapter was the perfect size.

[0.03 lb] Use adapter to take an HDMI mini cable and up size it to a standard HDMI connection. Now have versatility for attaching to various digital devices.

[HDCP 1.4] I bought this adapter and a 20' HDMI cable to use Skype for an Office conference. The only problem I had was the need to change the Skype setup to use the computer's internal microphone, rather than the phantom HDMI microphone.
