[3] The Auray Wireless Charger with Case for Rode Wireless GO and Wireless GO II has been a nice little wireless charger. It's compact, well-made, and comes with a little case so it's easy to toss in a bag and not worry about anymore. For my purposes, I only use this with a wireless charger and it works great. The fewer cords I deal with the better. I saw some comments on the cords and I have a bunch of USB A to C cords so I haven't run into any issues. All-in-all this works great for what I need it to do. [Handle] It is a great monolight. We use it for headshots to light the white background. We don't need the full power of B10X or B10X Plus for that purpose, so we really save money and weight, especially because we always have one extra unit of each equipment as a back up. I disagree with the previous review about the power. If you need more power, you can get B10X model. This information is in description and you knew what you get. - Overall quality is very good. - Mounting part is made of metal. - Battery is on the top and easy to remove/insert in comparison with A1 models. - Most of the body is rubberized. - Buttons are easy to press. - Setting wheel is easy to use. Not like on the Profoto Connect Pro Remote. - same battery and charger as for A1 models. Things I did not consider into review. Just my thoughts: - There is some problem with the app and bluetooth connection from time to time, but I am pretty sure it will be fixed. - The unit also has USB-C port. Unfortunately, it can't be used for charging. It would be so cool, but nobody promised us that, so it is not counted. - It would be nice to have charger for two batteries. - It would be nice to have a plugable charger. - USB-C charger? Would be great too. 5 |
