Aa Powered Compact Digital Camera

[Cardioid] I really like using this microphone on my R5. I like that it is powered by the camera and doesn't rely on AA or AAA batteries. It produces pleasing audio for the run and gun work that I do. The wind screen works really well too. I highly recommend this microphone.

[-7 to +90°] I have a TT350N, which is powered by AA batteries. I decided to do a slight upgrade to this V350, with its rechargeable battery. It's ever so slight larger than the TT350 (negligible difference) and the longer battery life and faster recycle times are worth it. This makes a great run & gun on-camera companion, to my off-camera AD100 and AD300 strobes. The only negative, if I'm being picky, is regarding the battery door. It's a little tricky to open, it's pretty tight and difficult to get a good grip on it. Not bad enough to subtract a star, but worth mentioning here. Very happy with Godox's products!

[4.4 lb] Over the past couple of years I've become more sensitive to the constraints of compact on-camera LED panels with respect to light output and dispersion patterns, and began looking into other options that would afford greater flexibility in both field and studio contexts of smaller scope though still configured into an easy to manage form factor. Rotolight's kit has proven its mettle over several months of regular use. It is a complete solution for small-scale still photographic and video projects, its very compact and portable configuration making it particularly easy to handle in unpredictable or fast-paced situations. Build quality is excellent with a well thought out design that intelligently leverages a shallow profile to maximum effect: a removable rear cover encloses the battery compartment for three AA-sized cells and also stores a set of seven filters for diffusion, and white balance and exposure calibration, along with a reference chart detailing filter functions. The rubberized exterior of the light housing and snugly fit front cover provide effective sealing against dust and moisture, and at 7 ounces on-camera balance and weight are hardly affected. Set-up/break-down is incredibly efficient and fast; Rotolights are also designed to quickly slide onto hooded shotgun microphones for a relatively snug fit when quickly changing conditions demand working with more simplified portable rigs. Unfiltered light output is equivalent to a 100-watt bulb. As per manufacturer claims, I get around 4 working hours running with non-rechargeable AA lithium-ion batteries; lithium hydride rechargeable batteries rather than normal Li-ion rechargeable are recommended for peak performance, but I haven't tried those yet.

[Plastic] Simple AA battery powered with varying light options. You can have a constant white light, strobe, or red. 5 stars because it's cheap :) I use it when I'm on set and I don't want to pull a separate light from my pocket. I don't need something amazing.

[CRI 90] This light is very bright for it's size, good brightness control and it can be powered by; 6-AA batteries, larger camera battery and with the Fujia 12v Ac power Supply.

[RGB] The Vidpro, dimmable, LED sungun comes with a rechargable battery but can also be powered with 5 AA batteries. The batteries last a long time as LED lights are low power consumers. It is daylight balanced and has a magnetic attaching warming filter and diffusion filter. The magnets are strong and the filter stays in place with rough use. Love it!

[2 to 6 Hours] This compact and fast charger allows me to precharge my Watson batteries for my SONY Digital Handicam without carrying the large and cumbersome SONY charger that only works bu charging batteries in the camera. This make the use of the camera so much more convenient to charge 3-4 batteries and hit the road without charger anxiety.

[Zipper] If you have a compact digital camera preferably with a zoom or even a light interchangeable lens one to which you can attach an extension tube between the body and lens (or use a screw in diopter CU lens). You'll have to experiment a little, and watch the (conservative) attachment weight limit. The 2 position arm allows it to adjust for different distances. It even accommodates cell phone with included accessory.
