Ac1200 Wireless Dual Band Router Password

[Internal] I recently bought a dual band router from B&H but wasn't getting the internet speeds I had expected. I checked the built in wireless card on my laptop and discovered that is was a single band card. I found this dual band adapter at B&H and decided to order one. I ordered it Tuesday and it arrived today. With WIN 10 and using a USB 3.0 port, it was as simple as plug and play. I am now getting 3 times faster internet speeds and am very pleased with this device. The price is great as was the free shipping. I would definitely recommend this device for a home wireless network.

[1.09 lb / 493 g] This model is one that is compatible with Xfinity. I was surprised how much technology has changed because my previous NetGear modem did not require a router but this one does. I think some information needs to be added to the outside of the packaging to tell the user to buy a router while they’re at the store buying the modem!! I also don’t understand why the modem has a password because as I set the new system up, I needed to use the router name and created a password. Hopefully I got everything set up correctly - - I am able to connect to WiFi using the router name.

I have one as my main router and bridged the other 2 to make access points in my living room and Family room downstairs, I have run cat6 through out my house, every room has a drop.
