The Ryzen 5 5500 is a game-changer, redefining efficiency and power I am satisfied. (Combined with XFX RX 7800XT)

[Wraith Prism] This chip is amazing. I replaced a Ryzen 2700x with this 5900x. And the difference was even bigger than I could imagine. On the same AMD wraith prism cooler, the 5900x runs 12 cores under load at a constant 4.5ghz, all while using only ~105 watts. In benchmarks these 12 zen 3 cores are often as fast and sometimes faster than my sister's water cooled 16 core 3950x. And yes, AMD's prices have been going up, but the 5900x is the best per core price in the lineup, as well as often the fastest in single/light threaded applications all with a huge amount of cores for your heavy workloads. I expect to keep this cpu for many many years as I currently struggle to max it out in any of my day to day workloads

[14"] (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Excellent laptop. The AMD processor is fast!. The laptop itself is smooth and sleek. I only purchase Lenovo laptops because of the great design and reliability.

[16 GB] (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I have been using Intel for last 10years. First time using AMD processor, haven't felt any difference yet. Working smooth great performance. I like the build quality as well. Thumbs up.

[AM4] I bought this AMD processor for use with an ASRock B450 Pro4 AM4 ATX motherboard. The integrated graphics are an added bonus. I installed Ubuntu 20.04 LTS and everything went smoothly with no issues whatsoever. This is a great entry-level processor for basic to slightly moderate computing needs. I will certainly be using AMD in my future builds. Solid product!

[8 to 19 VDC] Snapdragon is a quick processor, more than Intel and AMD for a laptop. This one has some great features that work together with Windows. I like the cam login. The PC is in reduced power the second you leave, then starts right up as soon as you sit down. There is also more security with Snapdragon. Copilot+ gets better results than the desktop version. The only problem was an old 2014 Canon laser printer would not install. Three other new printers installed in a minute.

[65 W] Updated an AMD Ryzen 5 2400G processor on an MSI B540 motherboard with the AMD Ryzen 5 5500GT processor so I could upgrade my Windows 10 to Windows 11. Everything went extremely well, upgraded BIOS, installed the new CPU, modified a few BIOS settings and upgraded Windows in about 2 hours.
