Analog Tape Recording Studio

[24 AWG] I would outfit an entire analog recording studio with Canare L-4E6S Cables. I wouldn't pay twice as much for other brands, as Canare uses the same quality materials, braiding techniques and connectors. Also, the color options are helpful to identify signal routing from certain equipment if need be.

[Black] This is analog mixer is very good for running old multitrack tape recorders into new digital recorders.

[60 W] I was looking for a way to stream analog audio (record player, tape player) to the other rooms in my house. Victrola actually sells a record player that can stream to all Sonos speakers, but this did so much more for a cheaper price and better product!

[1.365 lb] I use this Analog to SDI converter to capture old tape formats into my Avid. It's simple to set up, just by flipping a dip switch or two, and with a BNC cable and 2 audio cables, you can convert video easily and capture into an SD project. After which I open the SD bin into my HD project and I'm off to the races. It has saved me so many times, I have one of these in each work station.

[Stereo Main Mix] I actually bought this for the tape out. My Roland V-8HD switcher only has RCA as an analog in, which can result in impedance problems from balanced stereo feed. Mackie 402-VLZ4 solves the problem. Board mix to Ch. 3 stereo bal/unbal in, RCA tape out to switcher. Impedance problem solved. The 2 mic preamps are a bonus. Very clean sound.

[Cotton] Probably my 10th roll, great all around tape for my studio.
