[5-15P] APC makes a quality Back-UPS. First thing to do when setting up the UPS device to connect the battery. Follow the directions that come with it and it was simple and easy to do. I haven't had this very long yet, but a few days after setting it up there was a storm and that caused a surge in power. My computer kept running smoothly and I had enough time to power off the computer and shut everything down. I'm very satisfied with the APC Back-UPS Pro BR 1000VA Backup & Surge Protector.
