[13.48 lb] I use this battery cartridge in my APC J10 J Type Power Conditioner with Battery Backup. There are many components plugged into this device. It gives me comfort to know that my electronic equipment is getting the right power and will give me uninterrupted service. One power glitch could cost me much more than the price of the unit and the battery. I replace the battery every 3 years and am very happy with the security that it provides me.

[Lead-Acid] This is a good looking and and solid APC. While on, it glows green on the front. It's quite small for a battery backup which I like, it fits well under a desk without being obnoxisouly big. It has a 3ft cable and feels very sturdy. It only has 4 regular grounded electrical plugs on the back, but all of them are surge protected and on battery backup. The amount of time the battery will last depends on how power heavy the things you have plugged into it are. It also includes 2 USB charging ports and an ethernet port in/out for surge protection on your network cable if needed. Note that this battery is not huge, it's not meant to support a full gaming computer through an extended outage. Plug in only the things that are mission critical and shut them down if you lose power. There is software (PC Only) you can install to see your current power usage and approximate battery life. I run a small business and I use this in my home office, and this suits my needs as a good surge protector and keeps my router and modem from rebooting through quick power outages.

[Carbon Fiber] My purchase of the APC BE900G3 here was for backup for power outages and peace of mind. Our area does experience occasional outages which are usually not very long. I’m using this behind the TV sitting on the TV stand. It’s powering my modem and Ring Security WiFi router as well. If an outage turns out to be longer than not, I can hook up alternative options. I love that this APC UPS gives a safety cushion of time to makes decisions.

[Aluminum] I have two APC UPS that I use to back up my modem, router and NAS during power outages. My original APC UPS was bought in 2018. This last power outage I noticed the minutes of backup declined rapidly on the older UPS compared to a newer UPS. APC states a two to three year life for backup batteries so I guess six years was time to look for a replacement. This APC replacement was very easy to install and fit perfectly. At half the cost of a new UPS it was an easy decision. My available backup minutes should now be like new
