Apc Biometric Password Manager Fingerprint Reader

[3.45 oz (98 g)] I really like this safe. The biometric (fingerprint) reader works every time. The safe is a convenient size that fits under my bed such that one would have to lift the bed to take away the safe, yet it's convenient for me to access it.I mainly purchased this for a secure place to store things like my loose cash, silver and gold coins, credit cards not in my wallet, my passport and expensive watches. Although my home is quite secure this is more for when I have workers in the house or have a party. I didn't want the aforementioned items just sitting in a drawer. When I have people over, I push the safe more under the bed so it's not visible to anyone too.This safe is easy to set up and understand. It also includes 2 secure round type keys which you can use if the fingerprint scanner stops working or the 4 AA batteries die. Note the unit remembers your programmed fingerprints even if the batteries die in most cases.I also did a lot of research and this brand is not nearly as easily broken into but just pushing hard on things such as the finger scanner than other brands.Recommended!

[50,000 Hours] The safe arrived well packed with no damage. Its about 65 lb. so some people may need help moving it, I did not. You get a big metal box with a thick door that locks via three thick metal pins which unlock electronically if you have a correct fingerprint. There are better safes out there, but you would still need a welding torch or a grinder/cutter to get through this thing, unless you know how to compromise the fingerprint reader. I plan to secure it to a wall/stud in a closet using the predrilled mounting holes. I was able to fit three rifles in it with no problems. It comes with one shelf but brackets for two shelves, I had a piece of thick plastic cut to the dimensions of the shelf and now I have two shelves. Shelves are big enough to store handguns, ammo, valuables etc. Because I am only using it for three rifles, there is room leftover in the main section. Fingerprint reader works great. This is a good safe for the $ I paid. Hopefully you can get it cheaper.

[Black / Clear] This is a must have accessory for the Surface Pro. I considered getting the cover with the fingerprint reader, but that's not necessary because the Surface Pro has facial recognition built in and it works great. Typing isn't much different from a full size keyboard. The key feel is good and the track pad works very well. Thanks to the trackpad and touch screen, you don't really need a mouse. I bought mine Used from B&H and saved about 30% over new. It was only rated a 9, but honestly, I don't think the box was ever opened. The box was beat up but it didn't look like the tape was ever removed. B&H used stuff is GREAT!

[500 dpi] I have a fingerprint reader on my laptop and wanted one on the desktop also. Works fine with Windows Hello and Roboform, a secure form filling app. One gotcha is that it didn't automatically download drivers. I downloaded them from the SecuGen website. No problems.
