Apc Smart Ups X 1500

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed this card into my Smart 1500 APC UPS to make in-band network monitoring simple. You can get fairly granular with items or conditions you wish to monitor. Much more so than with just the standard network connection on the UPS itself.

[Silver] This is an addition to several APC Smart-Ups units already in the office and this one is for the server. Designed as a rack mounted unit but being able to use it as a stand alone set up as a tower is a big bonus. This stands upright next to the server. The built in features along with the Power Chute software allow us to schedule tests and get notified via email if there is a problem. APC has been our go to UPS brand for 20+ years. An add on battery pack for this unit will be added in the near future. Pricey? A little, but worth every penny. Kudos to B&H for the decent price and fast shipping. Looking for an affordable UPS? APC is always a good choice.

[55.7 lb] problems with an APC 1500 ups dropping my trading computer @ power failures. This CyberPower PFCsinewave just got tested and ALL is well. I used the APC to upgrade the modem/router ups so no loss, Of course B&H ship & $ still as good as it gets. 4sure, Bob10

[8.3 x 6.9 x 6"] I use a total of four APC ups units. Three are small and one is a 1500. I usually buy new (trade-in) for the small 350 units, but it is far more cost effective to replace the battery in the 1500. The recycle option is appreciated and works. Unlike the other reviews I just read, I am completely satisfied with the last two replacement batteries. This most recent one arrived 100% charged and installed providing full capability and showing twenty minutes battery time remaining. Since I have a full backup generator in the event of power failure, I need only 30-40 seconds power backup from the ups, but the battery and surge protection provided has saved me more times than I can count. I live in NW Florida, one of the lightening centers of the country.

[750 VA] Awesome little 750VA UPS unit that fits and looks great on your desk! As with most other APC products this is solid reliable and feature rich. It has the Smart Connect remote monitor capability as well. 6 Surge and Battery Outlets. Smart Card slot. LCD looks great and makes it easy to read and understand. Definitely recommended.

[Lead-Acid] Works with the APC Smart-UPS X 1000VA Rack/Tower LCD 120V that I recently bought becuase my Dell Studio with Windows 7 would crash whenever there was a power flicker - my BackUPS RS 1300 sine wave approximation was not good enough to run my machine - I needed a pure Sine wave - this extra battery gives me enough time to finish what I'm doing and shut down in an orderly fashion when the power fails as it does often here in the north Woods.

[RBC43] The APC Smart-UPS works exactly as advertised and is handing about 75W worth of equipment when we have power outages.
