[White] This is a good quality power adaptor extension cord to my Macbook Pro. It is much better than the original Apple wall plug duck head. I would recommend it.

[Proprietary] I purchased this as back up plan to the battery because you just never know about these batteries! May never have a problem but the one time you do, it isn't good! When inside the studio or on inside location I like to use the AC Adapter because I tend to shoot a little faster and take more shots. I also like having the extra power of the cord if I am shooting HSS pretty often. Re-cycle is not a thought or consideration then! Basically it is peace of mind and a back up! For those with outdoor shoots I always take my Honda generator in case I need the cord outdoors and now with these power solared generators out and available it will be even easier to have outside power available for the AC adapter!

[12 A (Maximum)] I wound up immediately taking it apart to shorten the AC power cord to better fit my situation. In having it apart, I was impressed by the soldering and attention to detail (heat shrink even where it wasnt absolutely necessary, for example). Manufactured in China, but remember, their factories have varying levels of quality depending on whats specified by the designer, in this case Furman. This is the good stuff.

[Black] It's just a power cord, right? True enough, however, if you're like me and have held onto your groovy retro-ish Roland (and other brand) keyboards, keeping these 2-pronged cords on hand is a must. I've used Hosa cables for years, with pro and con feelings about them, mainly for the low cost, and to be sure, with some varieties, you get what you pay for. For example, with more critical audio signal path items that get more use, spend a few bucks more to up the quality factor, whether with better Hosa models or other brands. But for this power cable in particular (I bought 3), not only did I find B&H having the BEST price, shipping and service, but I also found these AC cords to be comparable, or perhaps even better, than their original Roland counterparts. The fit in the receptacle is a little snug, but once you're plugged in, I see snug as a good thing. And these cords aren't either overly stiff or so spineless as to stress the wire inside. Ha, maybe an odd thing to review, I guess, but I'm quite happy with my purchase in quality and price. NO ONE had a better deal. --- Years ago I bought a Hosa AC cord for my classic Roland D-50 and it was a fair replacement/back-up. This new batch does seem to be an improvement over the 1990s issue. Groovy Hosa! Groovier still, B&H! I'm glad I shopped around and compared :-)

[0.64 lb] Perfect cable to connect my new Apple Display to my Macbook Pro for photo shoots.... i bought the longer cable to be able to have the display further from our Digi Tech for the clients to view the images coming in via Viewer on Capture One. I put the cable into a protective liner so wear and tear is less of an issue.

[60°] For me the peace of mind that should anything happen to my MacBook Pro Apple will fix it is well worth the cost.

[2-Prong] I wish there were a cord management system on this thing...as it seems like Apple is the only one that has it on their power supplies.  But, having said that, this thing is small enough and works just fine.
