Apple Computer Security Camera

[2 MP] When I purchased my Apple computer, I did not realize or remember I needed a camera and mic. The Brio 500 exceeds my expectations. A friend I was on Zoom with said Brio 500 enhanced the picture and sound better than his Logitech system. Nice compliment.

[600 W] If you have Apple equipment this is for you. ... Easy to set up, easy to use. Gave me a great sense of security given the power outages, spikes, and surges in our area. Didn't push me to buy direct, as a matter of fact, recommend that we shop around. Of course, B&H had the best price! It's a bit noisy if absolute quiet is your requirement. So far, not a problem for us.

[4x 128 GB] I bought the computer with 4 DIMM modules and augmented with these (for less than from Apple) to have 6 modules of 8.

[Full Height] The physical drive itself is great. I really like the SoftRAID software it comes with but it has two issues: You have to completely disable Apple's T2 chip security feature for SoftRAID to install its driver. I believe if they worked with Apple, Apple could sign the driver and allow it to be installed with the T2 chip setting allowing T2 security turned on with SoftRAID driver. A fix may be on the way for that. Second, the RAID drive does not show up on the About this Mac Storage status. Not a big deal. Otherwise SoftRAID is very easy to use, clear graphical user interface. It is what Apple's RAID setup should be. So far I have had no need to use it to rebuild/recover a RAIDed drive. Therefore I can give no feedback. This is being used on a 2019 Mac Pro.

[Additional] One thing is for sure, when your computer goes down, the repair won't be cheap. I always get Apple Care and it has always paid off!

[388] I like this unit and it was on of four models types I purchased for computer, entertainment and security devices. The thing I really like about this one is that it lets me know usage immediately and daily. The only thing I do not like is that sometimes the fan gets sort of loud, almost like a buzzing. Small price to pay for the protection it provides. I generally am only using 23% of the rating with a computer tower, two displays, four external RAID drives, a television and DirectTV box. This gives me 29 minutes of outage power which will extend itself if I turn off unnecessary devices.

[Yes] The Lorex 2K Security camera is an excellent choice for my needs.
