Apple Computer With M1 Chip

[iPadOS] This Apple iPad was purchased to upgrade an older iPad. The M1 chip performance is wonderful and the screen resolution very sharp. The 128 Gb of memory is ample storage for all my applications and pictures. B&H Photo Video continues to be my go to electronics e-commerce store.

[0.765 lb] The bad new business model from Apple, the M1 chip made me find this iMac. I disagree totally with the way They are integrating RAM and VRAM into the processor. So in order to get the specs I want down the road would mean big bux, so I got this one to save future $$. This is my 4th iMac over 15 years and with this one I will be on it for many years to come. This computer is superior. iMac is superior. Enough said.

[iPadOS] A great machine for graphic programs and the M1 chip is fast.

[2-Year ] So I've been using the iPad Pro 11 with the M1 chip for like 1.5 years and it's been been such a great ride.. hasn't ever glitched or anything like that... phenomenal Apple stuff..

[USB-A 2.0] Bought it for use with a 2019 MacBook Pro (M1 chip). Plug and play, no complaints.

This computer is a power house with the M2 chip in it. If you have the money to get it, you should get it.

[5.3] I upgraded from the Macbook Pro M1 as I’m editing more with 8K videos in DaVinci. The M3 Pro chip with 12 Core works great for DaVinci Studio whilst still having other programs open. Rendering is way faster. I barely do any 3D or Fusion, so the Pro chip was sufficient.

[Yes] The M1 chip is a game-changer. The display is gorgeous. I expect this iPad, along with the Magic Keyboard, will keep me busy for a long time!

[Latch] While I did have an issue with a Mac mini with an M1 chip, that was quickly resolved with a call to Eizo tech support. I am a longtime Eizo user--probably 13 or 14 years. The monitors just work. I run the auto calibration, and when I print after soft proofing, I always get what I saw on the screen. Yes, they are more expensive than other brands, but I am willing to pay the price to avoid wasting paper and ink while having an easy time setting the monitor up. As compared to older Eizo monitors, this monitor is lighter and more sleek. The on/off button works better-it seems to sense your finger without the need to push anything and the menu system is easier to work with.

[0.12 lb] It does exactly what is is supposed to: allows me to use two monitors with my 2020 Macbook Air M1 chip (I'm not a techie, and it really upset me off when I got home with my brand new Macbook and it couldn't run two monitors like my old one). Crystal clear on two 24" Dell monitors. Use mostly for word processing, email, and web browsing. Tested a few videos and they looked fine to my untrained eye. No integrated charger (you will still need to use your own charger) but it does allow passthrough charging through the usb c cable. After looking at various solutions, I'm glad I took the plunge and purchased this one.
