Apple Macbook Pro 2015 Usb 3.0

[0.685 lb] This hub works great and lets me connect my USB 3.0 devices to my new MacBook Pro which only has USB-C ports. No issues, everything works as expected!

[Active] Bought a MacBook Pro with USB-C ports and no vieeo output. Bought with it the Apple USB-C to HDMI adapter to drive my 4K TV that I use as a montor. The Apple product was total garbage with intermittent operation, tearing of the image, and useless to do work on. Since then I tried multiple other USB-C to HDMI adapters to run the TV in 4K resolution with similar results (although the worst what the one I bought at the Apple store.) This adapter works perfectly. Rock solid image at full 4K resolution. I highly recommend it to anyone that wants a 4K monitor for a very low price to work with their MacBook Pro that has the USB-C ports only. (The 4K TV is 55 inch which I bought for about $350 at Walmart on sale.)

It provides additional USB connections and gives the capability to connect the computer to ethernet, etc. I didn't realize I couldn't use it directly connected to this older laptop so I needed to order another adapter to use this docking station. I called B&H directly and the gentleman was very helping in finding the adapter that I needed. I have always had great service with B&H since the '80's when I shopped with them for my professional film cameras!

[109 ppi] The monitor was easy to hook up and get connected to my mid-2015 MacBook Pro (although I did have to go into the monitor settings and choose HDMI as that was not the default). As a graphic designer the color has nice depth and accuracy (in the sRGB color space) so it definitely fit the bill for my needs and price point. It also looks nice.

[Lithium-Ion] My 2015 MacBook Pro died. We talked to a rep and he thought the problem was the battery. After watching a YouTube video for instruction, it took my husband about 1-1/2 hours to take out the old battery, clean the inside of the computer, and put the new battery in. As it turned out, the problem was actually that I needed a new power cable. But I got a new battery in the process. As always, B&H shipped promptly, with the battery actually arriving one day sooner than expected.

[5.3] I had a MacBook Pro from 2015 that started to show the sign of age recently and decided it was time to upgrade my computer. I love the computer. I am basic functionality user. I don't use any complicated software on this computer so I cannot attest to that. My only negative remark was that I lost Origin (a video game software from EA games). There is probably a fix out there I just have not found it yet. If you know a Mac then it feels essentially the same as any other system. The color options are good and the overall shell of the computer feels more substantial like that of Pro than the previous Airs which was a selling point for me.

[3456 x 2234] Easy setup. MUCH faster than my 2015 15 Macbook Pro Retina. The battery life is excellent.
