[Yes] The Magic Keyboard is a serious improvement over the original keyboard I purchased for my 2017 iPad Pro, and that was pretty good. But there's really no fair comparison, since the new model is backlit, can charge the Apple Pencil, and appears to be more durable. I like the typing action. Typically, for Apple products, it's pricey, but I feel strongly that I got my money's worth.

[4 TB] I was struggling to get any sort of multicam editing done on Final Cut Pro X using a 2017 MacBook Pro. Though this was an investment, I decided to upgrade to this instead of an entirely new computer for now, and I'm super glad I did. The build quality, the performance, and the ease-of-use is second to none. The pelican-style case is a nice addition as well for when editing on the go happens. The most important question isn't whether or not to get this, but to decide what size best fits your workflow. For me the 2TB was sufficient as I only work on one project at a time. I could see upgrading to another larger one later if that changes.

[128 GB] coming from a 2017 126gb/8gbRAM Intel MacBook Pro, this machine is an absolute beast!

[Yes] Driving a BenQ 27 4k monitor from a 2017 macbook pro. Smooth scrolling and cursor motion indicates getting good framerate. At 1.2M it is longer than a passive USBC or Thunderbolt 3 cable would be--assuming your monitor has the USBC/TB3 input anyway. All in all, a good option for driving a single Display Port monitor from a macbook pro.

[Passive] Bought this about 2 months ago for my MacBook Pro 2017, works like a charm, 60hz is a huge difference for my eyes comfort compared to 30hz which most of cheaper adapters provide (including official from Apple). Just plugged it in and it works, no additional overhead (except setting 60hz in display settings)

[0.14 lb] Purchased this SSD to install in my 2017 MacBook Pro. Very easy to install. This was actually an upgrade from a 120GB. Work as it should. Very fast.

[7 x 5.4 x 4.8"] I'm using this with a Macbook Pro (2017). and a Scarlett 2i2 interface, a Zoom microphone, with and ipod also attached, and connected to the ethernet. This is mostly to enable piano lessons with 2 views on Zoom, and also make recordings. It has all I need for this and more . (I'm not using any additional screens). I like the card reader and headphone jack- easy to use. I can't upgrade my OS, but it works fine with High Sierra. The Caldigit gets a bit warm but doesn't overheat. I unplug it when not in use. Altogether very handy and nice to have all my wires more or less connected to one source.

[7 x 5.4 x 4.8"] I'm using this with a MacBook Pro (15-inch 2017) running macOS 10.15.7. I replaced a USB hub dongle, a DisplayPort hub dongle, and a charging cable with a single ThunderBolt 3 cable to this dock. MUCH easier to pack up my laptop when I need to go, and re-connect my laptop when I come home.
