Apple Update Imac Computer

[0.05 lb] Have been waiting for Apple to update it's current iMac model which is heading to 2 years without a substantial update. Rather than buying old new workstations - I gave some of our older ones a real boost with maxed RAM and upgrade to SSD's. Speed and stability greatly improved with the combined upgrades.

[6 x 3.95 x 0.4"] Boots up and runs Mac OS Catalina on my 2013 iMac. The computer appears to be in its last days - failing hard drive, according to Apple support. It may be software corruption, but it was much cheaper to spend less than $10 for this, rather than getting involved with Apple Store repair costs.

[3.7 oz / 105 g] Makes my older iMac seem like a new computer!

[0.55 lb] Erasing, reformatting and using without a glitch on iMac Sonoma using Apple software straight forward.

[6.8 x 5 x 0.8"] This is the only 27 iMac currently available as new. I needed to update to a new machine and wasn't ready for the new M series machines. This Mac is speedy and quiet.

[1.2 V] Unable to update my iMac (24, 2008) anymore, it was time for a replacement. Ended up with a Mac Mini, the basic version. Added a 2TB seagate SSD External drive and ordered 32GB of RAM. Took several weeks as it was backordered, but the RAM showed up last week. Swap was delayed as i had to order a set of Torx security tools. Thanks Apple. Tools arrived yesterday so i did the swap. The Crucial RAM was recognized by the Mac. Easy replacement, and the RAM should help the machine a bit.

[4x 128 GB] I bought the computer with 4 DIMM modules and augmented with these (for less than from Apple) to have 6 modules of 8.

[DDR3] Memory was exactly right for an Imac. Worked first time, now 10 year old computer is fast enough!

[260-Pin SO-DIMM] I just doubled the RAM in my iMac 2017 and my computer is running so much better. I wish I would have changed out sooner!
