Apple Wireless Magic Keyboard Battery Replacement

[5.0] Lightning fast and with the magic keyboard and pencil, its like the best laptop replacement ever. Takes a little adjusting but Apple has done a great job bridging the gap. The extra ram over the 2018 model along with the processor update have proven to be the snappiest experience on an apple device for me yet. B&H customer service was awesome as always!

[Membrane] I've used this for just 2 weeks, but it's the perfect replacement for my Apple wireless keyboard. It's virtually identical except it lies flatter on my desk since it obviously doesn't have the battery compartment (they did include optional sticky rubber pads to tilt the keyboard forward). I replaced my old wireless keyboard since I bought the new 2020 M1 Mac Mini and immediately had the bluetooth issues others have complained about. Weirdly enough, I could solve my keyboard issue by turning my Apple mouse off and on, but it got annoying. Right now, this wired keyboard is perfect, buttons all work as they should, choices of backlighting or not, controls sound levels as well as all the other functions I'm accustomed to using. Plus, no cost of feeding AA batteries to the wireless. Time will tell, but right now, I am satisfied, even if Apple finally does resolve their bluetooth issue.

[Mac] This is a very well made keyboard and a perfect replacement for the original Apple keyboard.

[Yes] The Magic Keyboard is a serious improvement over the original keyboard I purchased for my 2017 iPad Pro, and that was pretty good. But there's really no fair comparison, since the new model is backlit, can charge the Apple Pencil, and appears to be more durable. I like the typing action. Typically, for Apple products, it's pricey, but I feel strongly that I got my money's worth.

[2.05 lb] I have had a few iPads before and I like this one the best so far. I also purchased the Magic Keyboard and the Apple Pen. A great combination. I really like the track pad. I am missing the function keys on the keyboard though. It would be nice to have volume control on the keyboard.

As someone who spends a lot of time typing, I can't describe the relief I felt when I got rid of my clunky old keyboard and switched to this sleek and elegant device. The most significant feature of this keyboard is undoubtedly the Touch ID. Having the ability to log in to my computer and authorize payments with just the touch of my finger is incredibly convenient, especially when I'm in a rush. The keyboard itself is Bluetooth-enabled, so it's easy to connect to my MacBook, iPad, or other Apple devices without any cables getting in the way. The keys are low profile and responsive, providing a satisfying typing experience that's both fast and accurate. One minor downside is that the keyboard doesn't have a backlight, which can make typing in low light a bit tricky. However, the build quality more than makes up for this small limitation. Overall, I've been extremely satisfied with the Apple Magic Keyboard with Touch ID. It has taken my typing experience to a whole new level, and I would highly recommend it to anyone in the market for a premium keyboard.

[1.22 lb] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] have purchased a lot of covers for my iPad and this one was the only one that was a keeper. Compared to the Apple Magic Keyboard they both charge via the iPad port, but the keyboard on the Magic Keyboard is not removable which can lead to problems at times. Offers great protection and the keyboard functions just as an Apple branded product. Easy to link with your iPad and works right out of the box. Durable and more lightweight than a Magic Keyboard. Magnet strength is great hold the iPad tightly in place. At half the price if the Apple Magic Keyboard is a better investment. Great value and product!

[Aluminum] I purchased the 11 iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard as an eventual replacement for my older laptop. With several weeks of use, the keyboard exceeds my expectations. The user interface and touchpad function are so much like the MacBook the transition has been mostly seamless. While small, the keyboard works very well with my adult male hand size. It's pricey, but works great!
