[Cat 6] This cable works well for connecting our Apple TV 4K to the router. It seems to be of good build and the snagless connectors help for going through holes, although I still wrap them in blue masking tape first to protect the contacts.

[2 GB] I was finally ready to make the jump to Wi-Fi 6. My previous router, an Apple Airport Extreme, didn’t reach to the farthest points of the house and I believed there was the prospect of even better speeds. Right out of the box, I flashed Merlin firmware on the device. It most definitely is reaching some areas of the house that were inaccessible before. However, most of my devices cannot take advantage of Wi-Fi 6. I don’t have many options for placement, and that seems to be the number one factor in getting better coverage throughout my home. I also set up a VPN at the router, so every device can benefit. It’s been rock, solid stable and was a good, but not great, purchase at full retail. If you’re planning to make the jump to Wi-Fi 6, temper your expectations. If and when these do inevitably fall in price, go for it. Asus routers are the best on the market, now that Apple has disappeared.

[Yes] I purchased this as a replacement for my first generation Apple AirPort Extreme that had a failing fan. I did not need wireless in a router because my current home setup already has an independent solution. My only concern was speed. I have several test routers and none of them could deliver the maximum bandwidth that my ISP provides. After running the extremely easy setup it was obvious that speed was not an issue with this router. Even with traffic analysis enabled there is no speed, ram, or cpu issues. Best router for the money on the market.

[Yes, on Cable] This is the wireless keyboard that Apple should have made. This keyboard by Matais is exceptionally well made and works GREAT; I LOVE IT !

[LCD] This router works well with other Ubiquity Unifi devices including managed switches, wireless access points and network extenders. This router is fast. The self hosted server app works well on a Windows 10 pc. What isn't clear from the product description or BHP tech support is that the 2.5 GB ports adapt to 1 GB connections and that this router can replace an older Ubiquity UniFi router by plug and play. All that is needed, is to replace the new router on the gateway connection and adopt the device. Once you adopt the new router you get a message saying you can't have 2 gateways. Then just go and forget/remove the old gateway router from the app and re-adopt the new gateway router. Give it a bit of time and all the settings will be automatically applied to the new router. I have a xfinity cable modem, UniFi gateway router, 2 UniFi 8 port managed switched, 1 UniFi WAP, 2 UniFi Beacon wireless network extenders and about 50 network devices managed with a fixed ip setup. My only complaint is that nobody at BHP or Ubiquity could give me a straight answer on upgrading the router.

[1 Gb/s] I needed internet access in an old building next to my house. It is too far away from my house to be supported by my wireless router. However, it does share electrical wiring with my house. Running new Cat5 cables was not a good solutions for a variety of reasons so I decided to try TP-Link's AV100 Gigabit Powerline Starter kit. The setup was very easy, basically plug and play. The price was very affordable. While not as fast as a direct connection, it still meets my needs.
