[Yes] I'm a filmmaker and I frequently use a 300DMKII for interviews and commercials. Westcott makes my favorite softboxes for Aputure COB fixtures. These setup so much quicker than any other option--including Aputure's own Light Dome II. And the two-layer diffusion creates a really nice key light that is much more natural looking than the Light Dome II. This is a great size for an indoor key light--big enough for a soft source, but not too big for a standard 8 or 10 foot ceiling. Kinda pricey by the time you add the grid, but worth it for me.

[Yes] The Aputure Light Dome III is incredibly fast to set up, it literally takes seconds to build. It’s easily the fastest softbox assembly I've ever encountered. Additionally, it packs flat just as advertised, making it perfect for transport and storage. As a new product purchase, there's very little to dislike. It even comes with 4 adhesive loops inside to diffuse your light further and includes an interior baffle. It doesn't feel too heavy and fits on my speed light bracket with no problems. I would totally recommend this. If there are any negatives, it would be the tiny bit of light leak that shines through the stitching in a dark environment. I don't think it'll be a problem, but you can see the light shining through from the webbing in the stitching, which has me questioning the longevity and quality but that might be me overthinking. Other than that, this softbox is a game-changer in terms of convenience and efficiency.

[0.97 lb] I've used the aputure light dome II a lot and it's great quality with the smart fast setup design and this feels on par with that quality. I haven't had it long enough to put it through the ropes but my initial impression is very good. All the materials feel very good and the setup is quick and easy.

[Yes, Removable] This light dome is better than the aputure equivalent for one reason: the quick release mechanism for each point is much more seamless, and allows for a quicker set up and breakdown. That and the fact that it’s cheaper makes this no-brainer.

[1 x C-Stand] I use this with my Aputure Light Storm LS C120D II LED Light and Dome II, and the Avenger C-stand holds it like a rock. It is that simple. Get it

[40 x 6.5 x 6.5"] Bigger than a Aputure Light Dome (48 vs 35) and half the weight. Produces softer roll off in the shadows as well. Great to use with a 200x S. The Westcott also produces less color shift in my testing than a light dome. Quickly opens and closes. Highly recommend for anyone shooting doc style interviews.
