Arturia Beatstep Midi Controller

[ADAT] Arturia's BeatStep Pro is a very welcome addition to my hardware. I have been able to use it in place of keys in a lot more situations that I expected. With this in my collection, I was also able to grow the confidence to let go of a drum machine I had held onto for too long. I had looked at a couple of sequencers because my main synthesizer did not have one built in. It is a nice piece, and I looked at a lot of nice sequencers. The BeatStep Pro kept getting good reviews, so I picked one up expecting to sell it when I purchased another. Well, I kept using it and ended up setting a couple of other pieces free. It is really nice to work with. My biggest issue is one that runs across a lot of pieces. Arturia has created an extensive .pdf manual. At times the page count reminds me of Devarahi's textbook (length more than raw info). I think Arturia could distill this information into a 30 page manual included with the BSP. We could then have it for easy reference.

[Solid-State] I use this microphone for DJing, plugs directly into my midi controller and sounds crystal clear.

[Metal] this controller controls EVERYTHING would need it to, and is a cobination of a GREAT midi controller for beats, and an EVEN BETTER control surface...the key for me is the LARGE FONT LCD....no more squinting with reason, i dont even have much need to look anywhere else, it almost feels like a stand alone device....AWESOME NEKTAR

[USB Bus Power] Im not a pianist but I know just enough to be dangerous and want to learn more, so I thought Id grab a midi controller and do some learning. The Nektar Impact LX25+ fits the bill. It works with my various DAWs, the keys feel good, and its easy to use. My only regret is that I wish Id bought something with even more keys, but for the price, this ones hard to beat!

[43.5 lb] I am throughly please with this keyboard midi controller. The action is so much like a regular piano. The build is a good quality, and while it doesn’t have a lot of bells and whistles (which can sometimes get in the way), it performs flawlessly. This keyboard is worth twice the price. If you’re thinking of buying it, do it.
