Asus 15 Inch Gaming Laptop 2015

[Windows 11 Home] I was looking for a 15 inch gaming laptop and I saw this on the B&H website. I was impressed by the specs and brought it. Since it had two SSD slots, one empty, I purchased a 1TB SSD and installed it, no problem. The Asus Tuf Gaming Laptop boots in seconds and the battery life is far beyond impressive, non-gaming, it lasts since most gaming laptops are bad on battery life. It has no DVD drive since it's military specs and no card reader which I purchased later. Excellent.

[5.3] The ASUS 15.6 Vivobook S 15 Laptop is well made. I love how compact and light weight it is for traveling. Everything with it is working great so far. No complaints.

[16 GB] I am learning to enjoy my ASUS 15.6 Vivobook. It is a replacement for my nearly 14 year old laptop that has seen better days. I am on a limited budget, but I didn't want mediocre specs that would be outdated in 6 months. I do mainly internet browsing, some productivity work (word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, etc.), some low intensity gaming, and on occasion some video editing for my socials. Bottom line - You should probably get one while qtys and pricing are good. Pros - It has the specs I wanted (i9 CPU, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD) at a great price. More than enough computing power for gaming, casual internet browsing, and the occasional homework/essay. It included FREE 2-Day Shipping - I am on the West Coast. Screen colors are vibrant, keyboard is keyboard-y with backlit keys. The laptop itself is not the lightest out there, but is hardly the boat anchor ROG ASUS I still own that is on its last legs. It's offered thru a reputable dealer. Cons (ish) - Only 1920x1080 resolution and no touchscreen. I haven't really encountered any other negatives so far. It's been a while since I purchased MY own laptop. To be transparent, I have helped recommend and even purchased several laptops over the years for my family and friends. My previous-current laptop is a still-running ASUS G51J (i7 CPU 1st Gen, 6GB RAM, 500GB 2.5 HDD) - battery doesn't charge, but still works plugged in. I purchased it from B&H also circa 2010. Being a frugal tinkerer myself, but wanting the best value for my budget, I researched and compared several buying sources including big box stores, national (U.S.) retail chains and even Amazon, but I still chose B&H. Even though I am on the West Coast, I still found value in the products they offer as well as the service and buying experience. Did I mention FREE 2-Day shipping from the East Coast (NY). [8.995 lb] I was looking for a good gaming laptop from Asus and found this one on the B&H website. It was featured as best overall for that price range. I paid more than what B&H are asking for it now. The Asus F15 Tuf Gamer plays all my games on the highest settings and I'm getting a constant 60 to 144 FPS. I purchased an additional 1TB SSD and installed it with no problem. (do not format the SSD) The system will recognize it. The sound is great, the dual fans are quiet, even on Turbo. The colors are realistic and my games and photos really look good. This laptop is more powerful than the best gaming consoles with it's I7 CPU and embedded GTX 3060 graphics. I'm glad B&H dropped the price and made it more available for consumers looking for a good gamer. It is built to military specifications and can stand moderate falls if you drop it. Note: It does not come with a DVD drive or memory card reader, no problem: you can get those from B&H for a nominal price. Highly recommended.

[Black] This sleeve is good protection for a 15 inch laptop - slim, padded and great fit. The only thing to make it better would be a shoulder strap for easier hands-free carrying but for the price, it can't be beat.

[2.635 lb] This is a very well made 15 inch laptop bag. It also has a sleeve for your tablet. It is well padded and made of good materials. It has additional internal pockets for accessories, phone, etc. I would buy it again.

[Lithium-Ion] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m usually get used to good laptop specifications with long term usability at the expense of carrying some extra weight everyday. It was about time to update my 5-year old 15-inch laptop and was looking for PC with good computing power but with a bigger screen as sometimes I tend multitask a lot. I found this 17-inch LG laptop with the specifications I needed but was hesitant as I didn’t know how portable a 17- inch laptop would be. When I received it I realized this is way more portable than my previous machine. It is way lighter with a better screen. I immediately opened all the 15 tabs I am used to without any performance issues. Speakers are good but could be slight better. In general. I am pretty happy with my purchase. I was able to find a laptop with quite big screen and numeric keyboard without compromising on portability as the weight is perfect while traveling. [7 x 5.4 x 4.8"] I'm using this with a MacBook Pro (15-inch 2017) running macOS 10.15.7. I replaced a USB hub dongle, a DisplayPort hub dongle, and a charging cable with a single ThunderBolt 3 cable to this dock. MUCH easier to pack up my laptop when I need to go, and re-connect my laptop when I come home.
