Asus Laptop Docking Station Review

[USB-C Female] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a Plugable USB-C Dual DisplayPort & HDMI Display Docking Station because I upgraded to a laptop with two monitors. This docking station was easy to set up. The quality of it seems to be nice and the docking station looks premium. It seems to be working flawlessly for what I need. I really like that it is light and works nicely with my Chromebook and 2 monitors. The packaging comes with UD-MSTHDC Docking Station, power adapter, USB-C and USB-C cable.

[16 x units] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This docking station is a must have for my multi-tasking household that has way too much tech. There are ports for any peripheral you can want or need - micro SD/SD, audio, 7 USBs, ethernet, and of course HDMI. I do wish it had multiple USB-C ports but that is easily solved with a small dongle. I primarily work on a laptop so this dock is great for allowing me to become "static" and have my laptop utilize external monitors. The dock is very study and I really like that it has it can stand vertically, a nice space saving measure. Overall, this docking station has worked exactly as anticipated.

[USB-C Male] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cable is exactly what I needed to connect my laptop to my docking station. My old Thunderbolt cable sheathing was coming apart at the end and wasn't long enough for me to place my docking station back behind my monitors like I wanted. This Belkin cable solves both of those problems, and provides 100W power delivery, where my old cable only gave me 40W. I really like the high power rating, as it allows my laptop to charge up much faster. This cable is super long, roughly 6ft, and has a very premium build quality feel to it. I love using Thunderbolt cables as they really declutter my workspace and make docking and undocking my laptop as simple as plugging in a cable. This is hands-down the best Thunderbolt cable I've owned!

[20 VDC] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This docking station will make anybody's life a lot easier if they use a laptop. I keep all of my devices (mouse, keyboard, speakers, microphone, and monitor) plugged into it. When I need to travel for work I can simply unplug my computer when I leave and plug it back in when I get back. Love that it has a stand and plenty of USB ports. The one thing that I wish it had is two HDMI ports. I like using two monitors for work but I can still use a monitor and the screen on the laptop so it's not a big deal.

[32 GB] (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The docking station works well so far, I like that it has more juice in it to power the laptop that I hocked it up to.

[Windows ] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My previous docking station was the old platform where the laptop lands on on top of the docking station. Although it worked well, I prefer the new approach where you have one plug that you plug into your laptop. It takes up less space on my desk as well. For my needs there are plenty of USBA and USBC ports. If I were to say anything negative, it would be that the sounds quality for my audio connection isn't as good.

Plus I have additional plug-ins for added USB connections and a microphone/headphone connection for remote meetings where communication is required without any interruptions.

[5 VDC] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Plugable USB-C docking station to organize my desk and setup my laptop for hybrid work. I like that I can connect my monitor, keyboard, mouse, and power cables to the docking station and only connect the USB-C cable to my laptop. This allows me to be more flexible and move my computer when working from home. I would recommend this to someone that's looking for a convenient way to connect their laptop without having to disconnect and reconnect all of the peripherals when working in different locations.
