This docking station was easy to set up. The quality of it seems to be nice and the docking station looks premium. It seems to be working flawlessly for what I need. I really like that it is light and works nicely with my Chromebook and 2 monitors. The packaging comes with UD-MSTHDC Docking Station, power adapter, USB-C and USB-C cable.

This laptop docking station's compatibility is universal and it is compatible with Windows 11, 10, 8.x and 7, macOS 10.14 or later, and ChromeOS 100 or later. Plug and play driver installation via Windows Update; manual driver installation on macOS. Dock does not charge host PC. I have already recommended the Plugable USB 3 Universal Docking Station for Dual Monitor to many of my friends and family and several of them have already purchased and used this docking station to manage their dual monitors quite easily and they all love to use this device.

[91 ppi] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Viewsonic TD2455 24" touch monitor in order to upgrade from an older Viewsonic 22" touch monitor. The additional features provided by the TD2455 were beyond my expectations. I use the monitor with a laptop and a docking station in order to see a bigger display. By using the USB-C connection to the monitor and my laptop, I was able to eliminate the docking station and all the wires it entailed. Specifically, the single USB-C connection provides power to my laptop and controls the video and touch functions of the monitor. The monitor also has two built-in downstream USB-A ports. I use one of these ports to plug in the unifying receiver for my full-size wireless keyboard and mouse. I love the new monitor, its beautiful display, and the less clutter resulting from fewer wires needed. My only disappointment is that the USB-C cable was not included in the box with the monitor. I had to purchase it separately.

Although it is not officially called 'a docking station', I can have only one USB-c line goes into the laptop. The power cord, HDMI from monitor, wireless keyboard+ mouse USB, are all connected to this device. I move my laptop from work to home and back with only one plug in when I resume working. Most docking stations cost a fortune, this one, a fraction of cost, works like a charm. My best buy of this year is this device. Although I had to buy a power charger with USB-C end, it is worth the money. My wife do the same for her Mac with this device ( she has her own device). So far so good, compact and light weight.

[OFNP] Have had the cables for two weeks and so far they have been working. My setup is a little unique. I have four Dell 1920x1200 monitors connected to a Dell Thunderbolt4 docking station for my work laptop that also has a Thunderbolt4 port. The cables connect the first set of two monitors to the two Thunderbolt ports on the docking station via the USB-C/DispayPort 1.4 port on the monitors. The second set of monitors are daisy chained to the first set's DisplayPort Out For MST port. Using this arrangement allow me to pass the video and USB data thru a single cable to each set of monitors. I did this because the Logitech USB headset I have has intermittent noise problem when connected to the docking station's USB ports, but doesn't when connected to the monitor's USB ports. The first set of monitors were originally connected to the docking station thru DisplayPort cables and then used a separate USB cable to provide an uplink from the docking station to the monitor's USB-C/DisplayPort port. The headset would still have the intermittent noise. The only other way to prevent it was to plug it directly into the laptop. It was an expension solution to just having one cable plugged into the laptop to run everything else. Plus I wanted to see what kind of connections could be made using the Thunderbolt technology. The reason I didn't daisy chain all four monitors with one cable is because two of the monitors are older and don't have that capability.

[1.69 W] PC or laptop will not boot due to faulty hardware? No problem - your data will not be lost. The 2.5/3.5" drive docking station connects to your PC / laptop and loads the hard drive as another drive so you access your coveted data! Connecting by usb or esata the transfer speeds do not disappoint. If there was a way to have the docking station powered over a usb cable without needing the power adapter that would be the only change I would make to this device. [5 VDC] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Plugable USB-C docking station to organize my desk and setup my laptop for hybrid work. I like that I can connect my monitor, keyboard, mouse, and power cables to the docking station and only connect the USB-C cable to my laptop. This allows me to be more flexible and move my computer when working from home. I would recommend this to someone that's looking for a convenient way to connect their laptop without having to disconnect and reconnect all of the peripherals when working in different locations.

[14x 3-Prong] The USB3VDOCK4DP laptop docking station with 4K DisplayPort has a lot of features for such a small device! It comes with a gigabit ethernet port, 4k DisplayPort, USB 3.0 Fast-Charge, 2 - USB USB 3.0, audio port, 1 USB Type-B (for a printer) and Kensington lock port. No issues when connecting laptop and I did enjoy how little space was taken. I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review.

[12] This laptop docking station has a lot to offer for people that have laptops with no docking feature option. I have an Ultrabook with only 2 USB ports and no other option like Ethernet and as soon I connected it, just work great and plug and play. Great features like the gigabit ethernet port, USB 3.0 4k DisplayPort, audio port, 1 USB Type-B (for a printer)and lock port. I had no problems and I recommend it. [3.3' / 1 m] I bought this because I own an Asus Chromebook CX5601 and I wanted a way to dock it and use it with a double monitor setup. This docking station has enabled me to do this seamlessly. This has enabled me to connect my Chromebook with two 4K monitors, a USB keyboard and mouse, and a webcam, and all of it works quickly and flawlessly. Excellent docking station.
